The New Demigod At Camp Half Blood

Take Two

...... Percy's POV.......
I pace back and forth. From the cave, we can hear Python's unusual screaming as the cave shakes.  Then we hear a defiant scream as the cave comes down.

We all stare at each other in horror, Celeste was in there and Nico went in to get her.

Before any of us can react, Nico appears in the shade of the tree, Celeste in his arms. Nico is covered in dust and coughing but Celeste, she looks horrendous.

I turn away and run to Eliana. She shouldn't see her sister like this. I grab her and put her back to the scene as the others rush forward.

Eliana starts to squirm, trying to see what the commotion is about. "Percy, what's going on?"

I watch as the others help Will clean Celeste's wounds. Her hole in her stomach so she didn't stab Annabeth again, a head wound, and it looks as if her arm was crushed.

Pollux, after a moment, walks over to us. "I'll take Eliana to wait the car, meet us there when your done."

I nod and Eliana's face falls.  "It's bad isn't it?" Pollux, looking on the verge of tears himself, leads her away. I rush over to the others who have grave faces.

Will desperately tries to give Celeste nectar while Annabeth and Nico try to stop the bleeding.

"Percy take over." Will demands. He starts to clean and bandage the  wound on her head before turning to the stomach wound. He gets out some stitches and starts to close the wound. Once that's done, he bandages her. "Come on." He mutters as he starts to try and mend the bones in her arm.

Will suddenly panics. "Her heart stopped!"

I feel mine drop to my stomach as Will starts chest compressions. We all hold our breath, waiting. At this point there is not much we can do.

Just when Will looks like he's about to give up, something in Celeste sparks again and she starts breathing again.

Will slumps back, "I have no idea how that worked." He looks at us all, "She lost way to much blood. Unless we figure out something," he let's himself trail off.

"I can get her to camp." We all nod and Nico grabs Celeste's shoulders, "I'll see you guys later."

******Time skip******

Like we started the day, we end it in the car. Silent and saddened.

Once again Pollux is driving but Will is in the passenger seat. I sit behind him with Annabeth leaning against me and Eliana looking out the window next to her.

We want Celeste to live, but if she does so does Gaea. I hate to think like that but I don't think there is anyway that we can have one without the other.

I look at Eliana. Her lip wobbles but she keeps her tears in. Her resemblance to Celeste is uncanny.

Eliana's hair is light while Celeste's hair is darker, even darker than Will's. They have the same face and body structure, but one thing stands out on Eliana. Her eyes.

Eliana's eyes are a soft baby blue, still young and open to the world and to people. Celeste's eyes are a hardened icy blue, untrusting and sad.

Is it nature to these sisters to keep there emotions to themselves? Eliana should be in shock. She should be crying or staring into space, but she looks out the window. She pretends not to look at us, but I can see her studying us out of the corner of her eye ready to stab us with her dagger.

I remember my quest with Hazel and Frank. Hazel's past and death had effected her even in her second chance. How was it effecting Eliana?

As if she could hear me, her head snaps twords me. She meets my eyes.

"Hey Eliana, are you okay?"

She raises a brow, "Yep." Its almost if I can see the sarcastic comment she bites back and instead she says, "Why wouldn't I be?"

Annabeth a arm around her and she tenses. "It's okay."

Something seems to break in her and she let's out a son before collapsing into tears.

Annabeth wraps her in a hug and I pull some candy out tell her about Celeste at camp. Only some funny stuff, as I give her chocolate.

Celeste better make it.

......Nico's POV......
I appear right by my cabin. None of the campers milling about notice me, that is untill I step into the light.

They freeze and stare at the girl in my arms.

"Don't just stand there, help me!" I growl as my strength gives out. It takes everything in me to support Celeste.

"Oh my Gods Nico!" Hazel rushes up to me in horror, Frank and Reyna behind her.

Together, we rush to the infirmary. Some Apollo campers take Celeste away from us and we are left to wait.
