....... Celeste's POV.......
"So, any chance that you could give me light? I don't feel like falling down before I get the chance to bring Eliana back,"

Child, you are the daughter of the sun God, you will always have light. Gaea sounds tired as if I am some incapable child; well I practically am.

I roll my eyes and turn away from the mouth of the cave. Pulling an apple from my bag I walk over to Heza. "Here you go boy." I give it to him then whisper in his ear, "Go find the sun of the sea good."

When Heza flies off, I take a deep breath and start to make my way down into the darkness.

...... Percy's POV......
Everyone is tense. No one has said more than seven words at a time; I should know, I counted.

When I had told the others about what I had seen they had all gone silent.

We all have the same question, but no one wants to ask it. Is she really with Gaea or is she being forced?

I nudge Annabeth with my shoulder, "So, guys what's the plan. I mean, we are almost there."

Annabeth sighs, "Percy-"

Someone cuts her off, Son of Sea God! Come out come out wherever you are!

I look around bewildered getting a few looks from my friends.

There you are! A large pegusas lands in front of me, saddle packs still on. You need to help! Celeste is about to do something stupid!

"Isn't that Heza?" Pollux walks up to stroke it's nose. "Yeah I'm pretty sure it is,"

Yes I am. But I can take you too her we don't have much time! She went to the earth mother!

"He says that he can take us to Celeste." I turn to the others, "I think my dream is about to come true,"

"Then what are we waiting for? Let's go." Will shouts and he motions for me to lead the way.

One more thing, Heza nudges my shoulder as we start to walk, she told me that you have to save her at any cost.

I furrow my brow, "Save Celeste?"

No, you will know when you see.

.........Celeste POV...........
"So when you say we are running out of time, what do you mean?" I talk to the darkness as I make my way into the earth.

I was really surprised to find out that I gave off a glow, enough to see by at least. How I glow I have no idea. If the others were with me then one of them would have made a joke about glow sticks.

I miss them, but if they were here they would not let me do what has to be done.

It means that you must submit yourself to me fully before I can wake your sister.

"Ah,no can do. If I give you what you want then how do I know you kept your part of the bargain?"

Because I am Gaea, I will not break a deal with you.  I swear I will bring your sister back.

"Okay then. I swear I will do whatever you want, AFTER Eliana is brought back. Only then. Not before."

Her laughter rings throughout the cave, You are smart demigod, I chose you for a reason. You will help me wake fully.

"Only once I have my sister,"

Find demigod, hopefully you are strong enough to survive the process.

"I will be."

I finally find myself in cavern where python lurks. I listen to the quiet hiss of his before I walk to the center where o circle has been carved into the ground.

"Okay Gaea, how do we start?"

Child, you sure are eager. In order for this to work I need you to picture her as she was before.

I close my eyes and picture her smiling face framed by strait blonde hair. I picture her soft blue eyes and the light that seemed to glow from her.

Now, I need you to keep that picture in your head and cut your palm. I need blood to bring blood back.

Without opening my eyes I take Eliana's dagger to my palm and wince as I scrape it across my palm.

Good. Now this part might hurt, but do not forget who you are trying to raise.

I start to feel a tugging in my gut, uncomfortable at first but soon becomes white hot agony that bring me to my knees.

"Eli. Eliana." I whisper into the growing darkness. "Eliana, Eli."

I don't know how long I sit there, whispering and crying, but I hear Gaea's laugh.

Get up little demigod, get up and see!

I open my eyes as the pain ebbs away. Standing before me is Eliana, shinning brighter that I have ever seen before. Her light almost drives back the dark. But she looks around confused, a hand over her heart.

She looks at me and I can't help it. Tears roll down my face and I scoop Eliana up into my arms.

I start to cry as I squeeze her. She stiffens at first but soon melts into my hug.

"Celeste? Why am I hear? I died didn't I?"

I slowly pull back to look at her face. "Yes you did."

Eliana suddenly looks horrified. "You made a deal with her didn't you! She sent the monsters after us, she is the reason I died."

My blood runs cold. "Gaea did this?"

Eliana nods her head, "The only way she could bring me back is if she was the one who killed me."

I blink as rage fills me. "Gaea? What the hell! Your lucky that I already swore on the gods damned river or I would back out."

We better move this along, the demigods here.

I growl as I move Eliana outside the circle. "Yeah yeah. I am ready."

Suddenly the dirt swirls around me as Gaea's laugh fills the cave.

Finally! Laughs as dirt floods into my mouth and nose. I hear voices fill the cavern but I can't see them

"Celeste! Who's-Oh my gods, Eliana?'"

"Oh no we're to late."
