My eyes snapped open and I shot up, breathing heavily. Why? Why must my dreams be meaningless and fucking crazy?!

I threw the covers off of me as I checked my clock which displayed it to only be thirty minutes after twelve. I sighed and got out of my bed this time, making my way over to the door. When I opened it, I was greeted by the darkness of the hallway.

This seemed oddly familiar and I didn't like it.

I held onto the bottom of my shirt as I walked out of my bedroom and and down the hallway. This dark hallway seemed to stretch causing my nerves to go crazy. Something grabbed my arm and pulled me to the right and I began to scream as the door shut.

"Calm down! It's just me! Jamie!" Ian shook me back to reality. "I'm sorry Jamie. I'm sorry, I just didn't want you wandering the house, especially at this hour." He took his hands off of me. "Why were you up?" He asked me.

"I was actually coming to see you b-but I didn't realize that I was passing your room. I thought it was farther down." I replied slightly confused because his room hasn't ever been so close to mine before.

"Oh uh..Yeah...About that...You know what, how about you tell me why were you coming to see me?" He asked. "Because I had this awful dream that you..You stabbed me and-"

"Do you really believe that I'd stab you?" He asked. "No. Of course not it was just...It seemed so real..." I replied quietly. "Well, I'm too lazy to get up from my bed, go in the kitchen, fish for a knife, and walk about three hundred miles to your room, just to stab you." He yawned.

"Or you could transport." I said. "Either way, I wouldn't do it. Ever. Alright? Do you want me to walk you back to your room?" He asked me. "See...I don't want to go back to my room...I don't feel comfortable and the couch, yeah it's nice but I'd be alone and I-I don't want to be alone-"

"Get in my bed Jamie." Ian interrupted. "Thanks." I replied as I walked toward the bed, which was on my left. I got on one side of the bed, pulling back the covers and getting under them. I flipped my pillow over and rested my head on the cooler side of the pillow. I felt the bed shift and the movement of the covers indicating that Ian was indeed behind me.

He sighed and then it became quiet in the dark room. Well not entirely dark, I could still see some objects in the room but of course not clearly.

I turned over and faced Ian and saw the he was already looking at me. His orange eyes locked with my gray eyes and we just kind of stared at each other.

'Kiss! Kiss! Do it! Kiss!' My subconscious cheered.

God no.

"Why are you staring at me?" I asked trying to make this seem less romantic. He grinned, "I'm relieved that you're alive."

"So...That makes you stare at me?" I asked another question. 'My god girl. Shut. Up.' My subconscious said. "You ask a lot of questions. You know that right?" He asked me this time. "I do know that as a matter of fact." I replied.

"Jamie, can I ask you something?" He asked me. "You just did." I smirked. "Don't be a smart ass." He chuckled. I giggled, "No but seriously ask me."

"Are you really going to Chloe's party?" He asked. "Yes." I simply said. "Okay...Who are you going with? Eliza? Camilia? Zayn? Some random student?" He asked me again.

Oh boy...

"Well...I'm going with Harry." I said. "Good night." He turned over. "Ian, I'm sorry. He asked me-"

"It's fine really...But I'm going." He turned back over. "Why? Don't tell me you're gonna go to separate our bodies if we get to close while dancing." I frowned. "No. I'm going because I got invited and I need to make sure nothing bad happens to you." He replied.
