Chapter 19.

Autumn wiped a tear from her eye. James held her close to his chest.

"She died, "Autumn said quietly. "She died,"

"It's ok you don't have to tell me if you feel uncomfortable," James said.

It hurt him to see her hurt.

"No, I want to say it," she said. "I've kept it into long."

"A year and a half ago my dad died. It was terrible my dad was so amazing he was kind and funny. When he died I almost gave up on life, "Autumn said quietly.

"Then Luke came into my life. I thought of him like an angel you know. I was so down and depressed, and then this guy came into my life, and it seemed like he cared," Autumn said with a sad smile on her face.

"After Luke and I were dating for a while I went to his house. It was supposed to be the night we had sex for the first time, and I was well am a virgin. So I was really nervous. We spent so long just talking that we fell asleep. Then I woke up to look at his phone and there were dozens of texts, and phone calls form Brody." she sniffled.

"It said stuff like did you take her virginity. Do I owe you a thousand dollars? Let's hope she doesn't kill her self like Rachel."

"Autumn, they were jerks it wanst your fault." he pleaded.

"I thought it was. I woke up Luke, and yelled at him to tell me everything. He told me all about Rachel Jade and how the story was passed down to the most popular guys. He told me how he and Brody made the same bet that Miles and Wyatt made years ago. I ran home and cried and cried. I thought about how stupid I was to believe the most popular guy liked me. Maybe even loved me."

"I thought about killing myself and ending it all," she said barely above a whisper.

"Autumn," James said softly.

"But I didn't want to prove them right, killing myself wasn't going to change what happened," she said sadly.

"What happened after that," James said as he wiped a few tears that was falling down Autumn face.

"Well, Luke and Brody lied to ever one said I cheated on Luke said I was a slut and a whore."

"The only people who knew the truth was Ximena."

"How did Damien know?" James asked.

"I guess Luke felt remorse," Autumn said with a bitter laugh. "One night he showed up drunk to Damien's house and told him everything."

"That's what Damien was going to say on his live stream. Instagram had a glitch and ended it. He was going to try to expose him again, but I told him not to." Autumn said quietly.

"Its funny, you would think I would be over it by now, but I'm not. I still don't understand why Luke did it why he pretended for so long. Then I think of Rachel, and it makes me sick to think that this girl was going through all this stuff at home. The only person she trusted was her boyfriend, and she finds out he was lying to her the night after he took her virginity. That messes with a person mentally how could they do that, how could Luke do that?" Autumn said in between sobbed.

"I don't know, I'm sorry, I'm so sorry Autumn," James whispered. "I would never do that to you Autumn."

"I know James, I trust you that's why I'm telling you this," Autumn said with a sad smile.

"Autumn I'm going to eventually have to leave to film more of the show," James said as he interlocked their fingers and kissed Autumn's knuckles.

"But just know, I would never leave you," he said.

"Never."

"thank you, James, "Autumn said she looked physically and was emotionally drained.

"Go to sleep, it's ok I got you," James said.

"ok," she whispered.

Once James could hear Autumn's soft snores.

He quietly said, "I love you Autumn, and I promise I'm never leaving you."
