Luke pov

"And if anyone doesn't believe what I'm saying I have screenshots on my phone, saved to my computer and backed up on a hard drive," Autumn said.

She had just told everyone what me and Brody did. We just stood there in shock. Brody didn't think she was going to do it, but she did. There was something different about her now.

After Autumn's speech, everyone turned to look at Brody and me. I looked at the ground and headed to the door, but someone was standing in my way.

I looked up at Autumn's mom. "How dare you!" she screamed. "Ms.Wilson I'm so sorry," I began.

"How could you do that to my daughter. I treated you like family," she yelled. As she wiped tears from her face.

Autumn ran up to her mom. "Mom it's ok. It's ok," she said. "I will go to the school board about what you did."Autumns mom said between tears.

James was now right in front of me, "Autumn asked you to leave. So why are you still here?"He was glaring at me and gritting his teeth as if he was trying to contain himself.

Brody grabbed me and pushed me out the door. He ran to his car. "Get in! Get the fuck in!"He shouted at me.

As soon as I got in his car, he sped off. "Shit. Fucking Shit!"He screamed as he hit the steering wheel.

"That stupid little black bitch! Now her mom fucking knows! She's going to go to the school board, and I'm going to get in trouble!"He yelled as he pointed at himself.

"This is going to be on my record. You think that Harvard is going to accept me if they see this shit on my recorded!"Brody hissed.

"She's going to pay! She's going to fucking pay!"He screamed. "Hey, calm down, "I said. Brody wasn't in his right mind and was driving 90 miles per hour.

"Calm down!"Brody said. Then he laughed which was scarier then him screaming. "That dumb bitch is going to regret what she did!"

....................Autumn Pov...................

After Brody and Luke left everyone else left to. Understanding how tenses the situation was.

When people left they looked at me then quickly looked away. The same people who believed the rumors about me cheating on Luke. The people who side eyed me in the hallway after me and Lukes "break up."

They all now knew the truth.

When everyone finally left, I could talk to my mom. "Do you want me to stay, "My sister asked. "No, it's ok. This is a conversation that I need to have with her alone."I said.

I sat down next to my mom on one of Stephens couches.

"Autumn, you should have told me."My mom said quietly. I couldn't look her in the eye. "I know I'm sorry," I said.

"Autumn. I don't want you to be sorry. I want you to tell me when things happen." she said. "I love you, but you need to honest with me." She gestured for me to come closer. She hugged me as she used to when I was younger.

"You're grounded for two weeks." my mom said. "What!"I said as I sat straight up.

"You didn't tell me about breaking up with Luke. Which I understand then I had to find out you were dating James from news outlets. I know you didn't want me to be hurt about what Luke did to you, but I'm your mother, and I'm here to protect you. I can't do that if you don't tell me what's going on, you understand."She said.

"I understand, "I said. "I'm just happy you told someone."My mom said smiling.

"Huh," I said. "You told Luke. He wasn't shocked when you said it."Wow, my mom was really observant.

My mom patted me on the back. "Know go talk to your boyfriend before he leaves."

"I love you, mom, "I said. "Love you to Autumn."

I ran up to Lukes room. He was sitting on his bed. "What happened."He asked concerned. "Well, "I said. "My mom and I talked about what happened, and I got grounded for two weeks. But everything is ok."I said.

He smiled."You were really brave."

"Seeing you in the crowd gave me strength."I admitted."I'll always be here for you Autumn," He said.

Then I thought about it he was leaving tonight, and who knew when I would see him again?

A tear fell down my face. "Hey, don't cry," James said. "No matter how far. I'm here," he said.

He got up from his bed and hugged me and kissed my head.

Maybe. Just maybe it wasn't too soon for love. Cause what I felt at the moment felt a lot like it.
