Autumn Pov

"Awwwwwww they look so cute," I heard a voice whisper. "Shhhh, we don't want to wake them up. I didn't get enough photos yet."Another voice said.

I slowly opened my eyes to see Ximena, Kobe, Damien, Nick, Alyssa, Stephen and my sister with there phones out taking photos of James and me.

"What are guys doing, "I said putting my hand over my face. "Exactly what it looks like we're doing."My sister Solana said. "I should be mad at you for not waking up early. Since we have the party to set up."

Since Kobe, Nick, Alyssa, and James are leaving today. We decided to throw them a going away party and invited most of the school. I asked my sister to help set up and told her to come to Stephen house early.

"I should be mad at you guys for breaking the house rules, but I'm going to let it slide this time," Stephen said.

"Ok, got it. I'm going to go change upstairs. Solana, can you come with me?"I asked."Sure," she replied.

As soon as we were in the upstairs bathroom, I quickly closed the door "What, what is it," Solana said confused.

"James told me he loved me!"I said panicked. I was trying to keep it in ever since I woke up.

Solana gasped."Did he say I loveeeee you? Or like I love youuuu."Solana asked. "Cause there is a difference."

"There isn't a difference, and he didn't say it to my face. I'm pretty sure he thought I was sleeping."I admitted. "How do you feel about it?"Solana said.

"I don't know. I like James. I like James a lot, but love. That's a lot. I want to be with him, but I'm not ready to say it."I admitted. "Well, If he didn't say it to you when you were awake maybe he isn't ready to say it to you directly."Solana pointed out.

"Now get changed you keeping everybody waiting," Solana said handing me the clothes she brought from home. I was left only in the bathroom with my thoughts...

..............A few hours later...............

I just finished setting up my DJ equipment. People were starting to slowly come to the house.

Even though it was still pretty early to have a gathering Kobe, Alyssa, Nick and James had to leave tonight, so we couldn't have it too late.

"Soooo, what are you up to." a voice behind me said. "Well," I responded. "I just finished setting up so I'll be playing music in a few minutes."

"Thank you for doing this, "I turned around so I could look James in the eye. He smiled and looked at me as if I was the person who mattered. I felt my heart fluttered.

Maybe I didn't love him now, but I could see myself loving him and being in love with him in the future. I shouldn't say anything I thought to myself.

.................An hour later.................

Everyone who was invited and could come was at Stephen house. I put something on a mix and walked away from my djing booth.

I was talking to Ximena and Alyssa when the front down swang opened.

"WOW, you guys threw a party and didn't invite us."Brody said."You know that really hurts my feelings."He said mockingly. Luke was trailing behind him.

I looked over to James to see pure hatred and anger in his eyes. He was walking over to Brody and Luke. I quickly ran over to him. I put my hand on his chest and said, "I got this."

I walked over to where Brody and Luke were. "What do you guys think you're doing?"I said.

"What does it look like where doing we'are crashing this sorry excuse of a party."Then I saw him looking at something in the distance. I turned around to see him staring at Nick and Damien intertwined hands.

"Disgusting," he whispered. I knew he was planning to do or say something stupid.

"If you don't leave right now I will tell everyone what you did, "I said. "Is that a threat?"Brody asked. 

"No. It's a promise."I responded.

"Oh, sure," Brody said. "Sure, if you wanted to say something you would have done it a long time ago. What's the difference?"Body asked.

I turned around and looked at all the people in my life. Nick and Damien who was so caring and kind. Kobe, and Alyssa they never failed to make me laugh. Ximena, my best friend who had been through so much with me. My sister Solana who always had my back the only reason she wasn't beating up and cussing out Brody and Luke was that Stephen was holding her back.

And lastly James.

James, he had come into my life unexpected and somehow turned it upside down. He listened to me he cared about me. He looked at me as if I was the only thinged the mattered. When I told him about Luke, and Brody, and the stupid bet. He didn't laugh or leave he was there for me. He held me in his arms until I stopped crying.

And most of all he loves me. He actually loves me.

I turned back around to look at Brody. I knew whatever happened; next, I would be ok.

"I'm giving you one last chance to leave," I said to Brody and Luke. Brody just laughed. Luke tugged his arm. "I don't think she's kidding," he whispered to Bordy.

"Nahhhh, she for sure bluffing she not going to do it."I slowly walked back to the DJ booth people quickly made a path for me.

I took the mic. I looked at James and softly smiled. He smiled back and nodded his head.

Then I spoke my truth. 

Autumn is going to expose Brody and Luke. Autumn knows that James said he loved her. What will happen next comment predictions.
