DIARY ENTRY #7

I felt my whole world spin. I could be a... Vampire? Somebody who sucks people's blood? Oh my goodness. No way.

"But I don't want to be a Vampire! Please don't make me change!" I cried, sobbing into my hands. I didn't want to be one!

"Sweetie! You don't have to be one! Please don't cry!" Danny said, pulling me into his arms. I continued to cry into his sleeves as he stroked my hair. I could hear Liam next to me, mumbling words I couldn't understand.

"What Liam?" I asked as I pulled away from Danny. Liam looked at me with guilt I couldn't understand.

"Well, you should know that the chances of you being Turned are pretty good..." Liam whispered, taking my hand. I stared at him in shock.

"What are you talking about? Danny said I didn't have to be!" I yelled, yanking my hand away. Oh please, don't let me be a Vampire!

"You don't have to be one but people are going to try and change you..." Liam trailed off. I heard a growl to my right and turned to see a really angry Danny.

"I thought we decided not to tell her!" Danny growled, shooting murderous looks at Liam. Liam narrowed his eyes at Danny.

"Oh, was that before or after you decided to wait and tell me that Tia was my sister?" He screamed back. Danny pushed his chair back and got up, ready to pound Liam. Liam jumped up too and threw up his fists.

"Whoa there!" I screamed, trying to get up. Instantly I swayed and fell to the floor. I felt strong arms catch me and hoist me up onto the bed. I felt my vision blacken but forced myself to stay awake.

"What... What's wrong with me?" I slurred. Danny stroked my arm and started to explain.

"Well, when you were hit, it was a miracle you survived. That was the Vampire Blood that healed you a bit faster then normal. You would be completely healed by now if you were a full Vampire. Anyways, the doctor's decided that you had two broken ribs, a minor concussion, and a broken ankle. Considering you have already been in the hospital for quite some time, one more night and you will be all better," Danny said, taking my hand. I smiled back at him as butterflies rumbled in my tummy. Oh, I so liked him.

"Wait, what weren't you going to tell me?" I asked. Danny started to brush me off but Liam interrupted him.

"I really think we should tell her Danny," Liam said, taking my other hand. I smiled at my brother (brother! Eek!) and wanted to thank him for being on my side.

"Yah, seriously Danny I do have a right to know." I said to him. He sighed and I squeezed his hand tighter to try and reassure him.

"Well, whatever. I'm hungry so I'm going to the cafeteria. Hopefully when I get back, Danny has explained." and then Liam left with a huff; slamming the door behind me. I looked pointedly at Danny, trying to get him to explain.

"Are you feeling any better? Because I wasn't supposed to tell you but your heart almost stopped..." Danny trailed off as I let out a wretched sob. Immediately I was flashed back to my past.

"Wow, this coffee is amazing!" I exclaimed as I sipped an espresso. My friend nodded along as she sipped hers. We were sitting at the Bean Way on a Saturday morning before we started studying for exams. We were both seriously stressing and we were trying to relax before some major cramming.

"Hello hotties," This hot guy said as he sat down next to me. I looked at him quizzically, but was happy that he was paying attention to us.

"Um hello?" I asked and he winked at me.
