DIARY ENTRY #11
"Tia... Tia... Please wake up..." A voice floated through my head and I couldn't help but sigh at the perfectness of it. What a perfect voice...
"Tia... Please... Open your eyes!"The perfect voice commanded. Instantly my eyes snapped open as if they had been electrocuted.
"Danny?" I mumbled, shifting my body to get a good look at the hot guy in front of me. I rubbed the sleep out of my eyes as I smiled at my fiance.
"It's me Tia." He smiled back at me and I felt my heart soar. "You are about to go into an operation to repair the tissue in your lungs. But I just wanted to make sure you were alright," He gazed at me with such concern I just wanted to kiss him. I wanted to scream with joy but now that he mentioned it, it really hurt to talk.
"Danny... Am I your girlfriend?" I choked out, trying to ignore the pain.
"Tia, Do you want to be?" Danny said as he clasped his smooth hand in mine. I felt a tremor move through my body; just from his simple touch.
"Yes, Danny. I love you," I whispered as I leaned forward into his body. His heat radiated into mine and I realized I never wanted to leave his embrace. I never wanted to leave him.
"I love you so much," Danny said as he grasped my face in his arms. He brushed aside a loose piece of hair and glanced at my lips. I looked away shyly and couldn't help but blush. I was a little shy about the whole kissing thing ever since Sam. I guess I just thought I was too trusting. I mean, I kissed the guy who wanted Danny and I dead. So I guess I wasn't going to go around giving kisses to everyone.
"Don't worry Tia; you can trust me. I will never leave you," Danny whispered, pulling my face close to his. I could feel his lips inches away and knew that he was asking permission to kiss me. I granted it and our lips met in an explosion of love and trust.
"Um, excuse me but Tia is due for surgery now." A nurse said as she cleared her throat awkwardly. Danny and I pulled away from each other. I blushed with embarrassment while Danny just smirked. Jerk.
"Okay, well I guess I will see you later," I mumbled awkwardly. I honestly just wanted to melt into the floor after the nurse witnessed our little kissing scene.
"Tia, it's alright. It's not like we were doing anything bad," Danny smirked. I rolled my eyes and smacked him. He started to leave then turned around and kissed me lightly on the cheek.
"I'll see you soon Tia," He whispered then walked out of the door. I sighed lightly and shut my eyes. He was cute, funny, hot, and totally mine. Sure he had a super cocky attitude but that could be fixed.
"Hello Tia. I am just going to wheel you to Room 209 so you can meet Doctor Jen and she can get started on your surgery," Another nurse said as she walked in the room. I quickly opened my eyes, wanting to take everything in. I nodded as I tried to place her voice. It really was familiar but I wouldn't be able to tell who she was until she turned around.
I leaned back as she wheeled the gurney out into the hallway. I could hear the wheels squeaking as we passed other rooms and we continued to move down the corridor. I was about to shut my eyes again when I felt my skin prickle with discomfort.
All my life I had a sixth sense when it came to bad things. Like when my family and I went to a movie and I got a bad feeling about it. Sure enough, it turned out to be disgusting and we left ten minutes later. Or when I was on a walk with my mom and my sister. My sister and I ran ahead and all the sudden I got a cold feeling. I turned around and saw my mom slip on a patch of ice and hit her head. She had a concussion and almost went into a coma. This sixth sense was creepy and helpful; but it definitely didn't make me feel comfortable to have it as I was wheeled into my operation.
