DIARY ENTRY #8
My hand shook as I filled in today's entry. I couldn't believe that after all I was going through, my mom was actually making me fill out my diary. Whatever, at least it gave me some alone time.
I had asked the boys to leave so I could digest the news, when really I was planning my escape. Now that Danny was gone, I knew I could think about it freely. The truth was, I didn't want to get married to Danny no matter how much I liked him. And I sure as heck didn't want to become a Vampire and RULE THE VAMPIRE WORLD!
I shook my head and slammed my book shut. I couldn't let this get to me because I had a choice right? I mean, even though Danny said it was an arranged marriage...
"TIA!" Danny screamed and bust through the door. I jumped, throwing my diary on the floor. Danny barrelled over to me and almost knocked me onto the floor as he throw his arms around me.
"Don't even think about leaving me." Danny seethed, whispering in my ears. I shivered.
"Wait, you could hear me?" I squeaked. Danny growled in response and I sighed.
"Don't worry, I'm not going to leave. I have too many questions," I laughed, kissing his forehead, hoping it would mask my nervousness. If Danny sensed this he didn't show it, instead he pulled me into a hug.
He looked at me and clashed his lips against mine. I resisted the urge I felt to kiss back but I just felt too betrayed.
"No, Danny. Not now," I murmured, pushing him away. I could see the hurt in his eyes but I just couldn't deal with him right now.
"So what are your questions?" Liam cut in. Immediately I started sweating. Shoot, I didn't have any questions. I heard a low growl to my left and knew Danny had heard this. Think, Tia, think.
"What, does anyone know why Willow is here?" I asked. That was a good question. I honestly didn't know why Willow was there. I visibly started to relax. The guys would take care of her and then Danny and I could live happily ever after. I felt my hand being squeezed in response to my thought.
"Well... Uh..." Liam stuttered. I glared at him, wondering what the heck was going on.
"Well, spit it out!" I screeched, glaring lasers into him. He withered under my gaze and sputtered out an answer.
"Well.. uh... Willow is my mate,"
I felt my world drop. Willow was my arch enemy. She ruins my life on a daily basis. She stole my best friend, my ex-boyfriend, and now my brother from me.
"What... Did you know how she treats me?" I asked, my jaw dropping. He looked away, guilt evident in his face.
"Well, uh, ya. I mean, I didn't know that I would like you as much as I did. And then when I saw you, up close and personal, I fell in love and forgot about Willow. Then when I found out you were my sister, I realized that Willow was the only one for me..." Liam trailed off. I shut my eyes and tried to will the tears of hurt and betrayal away. But I couldn't. This girl that had made my life a living heck for the past four years was my brothers' mate? And he knew what she was doing and allowed it? Even if he didn't know that I was the victim of her heartless bullying, he still was ok with her being a total witch?
"Tia I am so sorry... I didn't know that it was you... I just loved you so much..." Liam whispered uncomfortably. My eyes shot open and I was stiff with hurt.
"Get out." I said calmly yet coldly, pointing at the door.
"But Tia, I said-" Liam started.
"Get OUT!" I screamed, slapping him as hard as I could. He recoiled in fear and slowly walked out without taking his eyes off of me.
"Tia, I think Liam was being sincere. I think you should forgive-"
"You too. Get out." I said, closing my eyes. I didn't even have to open my eyes to feel the hurt and disappointment from him. I didn't care right now; I was too full of betrayal.
I heard him get up and shut the door with a sigh of sadness. I felt a small tear form in my eyes but I couldn't call him back. I needed time to think.
Danny must have heard me because he shuffled away until I couldn't hear him anymore.
I threw off my covers, and quickly changed into clothes Danny had brung. I swang my backpack filled with money and other clothes. I grabbed the cellphone off the table and grabbed the window sill and pushed up. Of course it didn't buldge; it's the hospital!
I face-palmed myself in frustration and then thought of something new. I grabbed the lamp and swung it with all my might at the window. The glass shattered and I heard an alarm in the background. I knew that any second Danny and Liam would be here so I jumped out of the window, not even contemplating that I might be on a high floor.
But I was. I was on the fifteenth floor and falling fast.
Dang! This is just like last time, except now I am going to die for real! I thought as the ground came closer and closer. I tucked myself in a ball and prepared myself for the splat.
But instead I just rolled. I had smacked my elbow and I could feel a small bruise forming; but that was the only injury I had from my jump.
It took me a second to realize it was probably the Vampire Blood that made me, like, invincible.
Then I ran. I just sprinted to the middle of the street and waved crazily for a taxi. I never even contemplated the fact I could get hit because I could feel the Vampire Blood surging through my veins. I knew that now that it had been activated, almost nothing could kill me. Almost.
With that thought, a taxi pulled up next to me and I bounced in.
"Where to, Ma'am?" The taxi driver asked. I pulled out my wallet, grabbed a wad of hundreds and threw them in the passenger seat.
"The airport and if you get me there in the next twenty minutes, you can keep all of those," I said as I looked behind me wildly. I heard the taxi man gasp and the next thing I knew I was pressed against my seat, moving so fast I couldn't even move.
I felt my cellphone ring in my pocket, but I didn't even care. I needed to leave and some time to figure out what the heck was going on.
I shut my eyes and waited until I could just escape to China or something. Hopefully without Danny or Liam finding out.
All the sudden the taxi came to sharp stop. I was thrown against the back of the driver's seat.
After peeling myself off of his seat, I jumped out of the car with a 'Thanks' and took in my surroundings with awe.
This wasn't the airport! I thought madly, looking at the junk yard in front of me. I pay the driver three hundred bucks to get me to the AIRPORT and I get a junk yard.
"Hello Tia," A man said as he stepped out of the shadows. My jaw dropped at the sight of him. He was smoking hot. He had a rock hard eight pack and golden skin. He wore only dark jeans that hung perfectly off his body. Oh sweet mama, I think I was in love.
"Like what you see?" He asked with a chuckle. I mumbled an apology and looked away, embarrased I had been caught.
"It's fine. We are going to spend a lot of time together, Tia, and I can't wait,"
