I could feel my heart beating slightly slower has i tried to catch my breath.Where did they go?They were right there!

"Ally!" " Ally! ".Kirsten and Riley's voices snapped me back to reality.I turned around and soon found them walking around the corner.

I tried to cover my scared,confused face with a more serious,calm one.Kirsten stared at me her eyebrows scrunched.
"What was that?" she asked. "What was what? "Don't pretend that I didn't notice.You saw something. "

I sighed knowing that I couldn't lie. "I saw a person again.They helped me out and then they just disappeared."

Kirsten and Riley looked at me.They looked somewhat annoyed. "They disappeared." Riley repeated. "Please tell me how someone could just disappear." " I don't know!They killed a zombie and ran off!It's not my fault. "
"Guys!Are we really going to argue right now." Kirsten said "we have more important things.Allison you said that they killed a zombie." " correct " "can you take us to the body." I shrugged and started walking.

We soon found the body.The knife still stuck in its head. "It's an army knife." Riley said. " how do you know? "I asked. Riley pulled out the knife from the zombie and one of her knives.They looked pretty similar.

I rubbed my head which was starting to hurt." just take it with us.We need to get home. "

We walked out of the mall and started heading on the wall home.Our town in ruins with a few zombies still roaming around.We try to get around without drawing much attention and sometimes it works,sometimes it doesn't.

"Could you be louder!" Riley yells at me has i finish up two zombies that were traveling with a group.We had ended running into them and had to fight,which of course we won. "It's not me it's these stupid zombies."

  After a few more minutes of walking we finally reached home.The small house which we first took shelter at the start of all this madness.Over time we had made it more zombie proof and have added a few other things.We once tried to make a garden.That failed.

I opened the door and walked in.The smell of mold and dried blood filled the air.After a while you get used to the smell.Riley sat down in a chair and Kirsten on a beanbag.
I leaned against the wall and took a deep breath in.

We barely get to let our guard down.Put when we did get to relax it was like heaven.

It was silent.Completely silent.

Suddenly Riley spoke. "do you remember the time I woke you guys up by dumping water on your heads?" Kiki let out a light chuckle. I smiled and replied "remember that time you woke me up by pouring water on my head and I chased you around the house until I caught you and threw you in the pool outside?"

Kirsten'd smile grew and Riley even cracked a smile at that one.

Now it was Kirsten turn. "Remember when we went to home depot and I spilled paint everywhere.We were covered."

" Yeah!that have us the idea to drop paint on passing zombos. "Riley said cheerfully.

" remember when we couldn't find out soccer ball so instead we used a zombies head. " I said half happy and had disappointed and disgusted that we did that.

Riley made a gagging sound. "My shoes stunk and had oze all over them."

" I thought it was fun! "Kiki said.
That whole night we talked about the good times and some of the bad.We laughed and had a good time.Has we slowly started to fall asleep.Has my eyes started to close i smiled.Even in the apocalypse you have to learn how to relax every now and then.

If not you would go insane.I looked at my friends.without them i would be dead.
