i know how you're hurting
i know you feel like
you lost everything
i know you feel
so empty
like nothing else matters
but you cannot heal
by numbing your pain
with alcohol and lines
every night,
you will only postpone
facing reality
for a little while longer.
drugs can not
heal you.
you need to face
the emptiness
to realize that
you were never
empty
at all.
because she
did not
complete you.
