Third person POV:

I don't know if this is the right thing to do or not. But when it comes to survival and self defence, I don't thing I need to give any explanations.
I've been told by everyone, the doctors and even my 'family' that I should try to have a 'normal' life.

What they don't realise is that even having a normal life is a huge blessing.

How can you stay normal after such a life changing event?

Don't you think I've tried? I wanted it more than anything else in the world.

Normalcy.

But I can't have that when I'm trapped inside this cage. Those nightmares. The fear.

IT JUST DOESN'T LEAVE ME ALONE!

And knowing that the one who is responsible for my current condition is living under the same roof as me, just adds fuel to the fire.

I know that I should have done this long time ago. But I didn't because I wanted to try...for mother and for myself too. But I give up now. I can't do it anymore.
I leaving this hell hole. I don't know anything about the outside world that much since I've always stayed in the castle but I'd much rather die in the outside world than rot here.

Dahlia

He continued to stare at the piece of paper in his hands blankly as he heard his mother crying who had found this note in her daughter's room when she went to meet her. But found nothing but this note. All of the princess' belongings had disappeared and so did she.

Dahlia ran away from the palace. Too.

Gloria was a crying mess. Wondering where her daughter might be. How would she be. All these questions were haunting her and she was beginning to imagine the worst scenarios.

Nickolas, however had no expression on his face. Theo who was also present in the room and was staring at his friend, waiting for him to react but this reaction shocked and terrified him at the same time.

She too? My sister ran away too! Nickolas thought to himself.

No one in the room spoke. Then suddenly after a few minutes a laugher erupted. Shocking the other two people as they stared at Nickolas who was holding his stomach with one hand, the other holding the note and laughing hysterically.

Then he stopped and smiled sadly turning to his mother and staring into her tear filled eyes who looked at her son with sorrow and instantly understood the reason of her son's unusual behaviour.

"It's always me mother." He said with a sad smile. "It's always me who is left behind... alone." His voice cracked.

"Nick. My child" Gloria stood up to hold her son but he backed away.

"First Minerva and now Dahlia." His eyes began to tear up. "Am I that bad because of which people decide to leave me? Am I unworthy of love? Tell me mother!" He shouted. His eyes were now blurry because of the huge tears pooling and pouring.

"Nick please..." Gloria held her son's shoulders to try and comfort him but that didn't work. And hearing his words caused her heart to constrict painfully.
