Third person POV:

Dahlia frowned, seeming so engrossed into her work that she didn't even notice her brother descending down the stairs and walking up to her in the garden.

She was sitting in the gazebo with her teacher who was teaching her how to knit.

"And there you go princess." Her teacher said politely. "But I still don't get it." The eleven year old whined now so frustrated.

"Because it's not your cup of tea." Said Xavier, mocking his sister again just the way Henry would. "Speaking of which, give yourself a break. Let's have some tea."

"Please don't distract me Xav I'm trying to focus." Said the princess as she passed the needle through a loop.

"Good luck with that." Xavier said rolling his eyes. He then noticed Nickolas and Alana Grace nearing and smiled.

"Good morning brother." Alana cheerfully greeted Xavier and gave him a peck on his cheek. "Morning Al!" He smiled brightly at her. Then he turned to his younger brother. "Good morning Nick." He said, his bright smile had now faded.

He expected his brother to give a positive response but only received a nod.

Nick was not close to his brothers. In fact he envied them. Not because they had a capability he didn't own but because his brothers were the apples of their parents eyes. Something he wanted to be for years.

Be couldn't. Not that he cared about that all now. But still he didn't like being frank and open to them.

However Henry and Xavier loved their younger brother and they wanted him to know that. It was not like Nick didn't love them. Just that he forgot to express it.

He's just like how father used to be. Quiet and expressionless. They both have so much love in their heart but they never express it. It almost feels like there isn't any.

Xavier wanted his brother to open up and to be comfortable. But he did not know what must be done.

"Ugh!" Xavier was pulled out by his train of thoughts by his little sister who annoyed, slammed the needle and wool on the table. He chuckled.

"I can never do it right." Dahlia folded her arms and held a playful grumpy face. Alana got up and hugged her dramatic sister.

Xavier caught the sight of Nick smiling at his sisters with admiration in his eyes. "Nick, Let's go to the military camp together? We could meet the newly trained soldiers and probably also play a few games with them. What do you say?" He grinned.

"I already have plans actually so I won't be able to join you." Nick finally spoke. He looked everywhere but towards his brother who was disappointed but covered it up. "Okay." He replied.
