Third person POV:

They were nearing the camps set by their army. The trotting horses were now starving and at the verge of fainting due to the travel. The setting sun was showing that they had travelled the whole day without stopping nor resting. But they couldn't stop, at least not until they reached the camp.

Nickolas apparently was feeling neither hungry nor thirsty and also he wasn't even tired. Because he was content. He was satisfied and happy because not only did he confess and receive love from his Minerva but gained his sister's trust and forgiveness.

Flashback :

He stared at the blade as he cleaned it with a cloth. This was the first time he was about to fight in a war as a king. The sword in his hand belonged to his great grandfather. It was indeed a beauty. Made with a blade so sharp that one swing was enough to do the deed.

How many lives would have been claimed by this sword? It's almost a hundred years old but still didn't lose it's shine and sharpness.
He thought with admiration.

There was a knock on the door. "Come in." He allowed, thinking it might be his mother or Minerva. He looked up to find his little sister stepping in the room slowly and hesitantly. He was shocked to see her there but didn't let it show.

He flashed her a smile. "Dahlia do you need anything?" He asked.

She said nothing. Just staring at her brother with glassy eyes. Nick frowned. He didn't want to see tears in her eyes, it didn't suit her. She looked perfect with her smile decorating her lovely face.

"Dahlia what's the matter? Is everything okay?" He asked concerned.

Then suddenly the little princess couldn't stop herself from running into her brother's arms and bursting into tears.

"I'm sorry Nick! I'm so so sorry! I misunderstood you! I thought you were behind... I was wrong! I was so wrong please forgive me!" She begged.

Nickolas smiled and hugged his sister back. "Hey. It's okay. I'm glad I have my sister back. Do you forgive me?" He asked her.

She pulled away. "I should be the one asking for forgiveness for misunderstanding you. Why are you sorry?" She innocently asked.

He chuckled and kissed her forehead. "I'm so happy I got my little dove back." He muttered in a soft voice.

Dahlia smiled. And I've got my brother back. My family back.

And then her smile dropped. "Nick?"

"Yes?"

"You have to promise me something." She looked him in the eyes with all seriousness.

He nodded his head wanting to know what was bothering her.

She took a deep breath and continued. "I want justice for my brothers. I want you find the one who killed Xavier and finish them once and for all. I want you to teach Stirington such a lesson that they will remember it for as long as they exist. I want you to take Henry's revenge also." She had fire in her eyes as she held her hand out for him to hold and seal the deal.

This sparked a new determination inside Nick. Now not only was this all for stopping Stirington from taking over Mayana but also for his brothers' revenge.

He nodded in agreement. "I promise you Dahlia. I will take our brothers' revenge." He held her hand as he gave his word.

End of Flashback:

I will keep my promise. I will do the right thing. Nick thought to himself. He had searched for Xavier's killer as much as he could. He assassinated all the wanted serial killers and contract killers but none of them turned out to be his brother's culprit.
