Third person POV:

"Where are my earrings ? I can't find them." Minerva walked back and forth her room as if she had a panic attack. Her breathing was uneven, her heartbeat was racing and her palms were sweating. With nervousness and excitement twisting and turning her stomach, she couldn't sit still for a minute.

"Relax my dear, calm down." Her mother comforted her but it seemed like Minerva went deaf for she couldn't control her restlessness.

"What if I lost my earrings?! Oh no!" Minerva yelled.

"Minerva! Calm the fu*k down!" Dakota shouted and that shut the blonde down.

"No cussing girls." Linda, Minerva's strictly scolded the hysterical girls.

"I think I'm going to faint." Minerva mumbled and sat down slowly on the stool. Her mother walked up to her and sat next to her. She lifted her daughter's chin and gave her a peck on the cheek.

"It's okay to be nervous sweetheart. It's totally normal. Just relax. There's a new life awaiting you. There will be huge changes in the journey ahead and some will be good and others would be bad. Just know to always stay calm and think that at the end you'll have a family to come back to. And that feeling of coming back home would be the most amazing feeling you could ever experience. You will have your partner by your side and of course your adorable little babies too." Linda giggled and Minerva blushed hiding her smile.

"Now time to get ready. Today's a big day." Linda gave her daughter an encouraging smile.

Nodding and now better than before Minerva took a huge breath and stared at herself in the mirror. She saw a girl in a white beautiful gown and her hair tied up in a neat bun. The girl Minerva saw in the reflection had confidence and determination in her eyes.

Emerald entered the room and smiled at her best friend. She brought the headpiece with her and adjusted it on Minerva's head.

"There you go. Wait... something's missing." Emerald seemed like she was thinking hard and then realisation hit her and she clicked her fingers. "I know." She said enthusiastically. "The earrings." She took out the earrings from her purse that she was carrying.

"The earrings were with you all this time?!" A wide eyed Minerva stared at her brunette friend's reflection from the mirror.

"Yeah. Why?" Emerald shrugged her shoulders unbeknownst to the fact that her friend was looking for the jewellery insanely a few minutes ago.

"Never mind." Minerva sighed.

Joseph entered the room and looked at his precious daughter. His eyes pooled with tears. It was an unexplainable feeling. The emotions a father feels on his lovely doll's wedding day. It feels as though all those years had passed by so quickly that he could not even enjoy and live in every moment. His little baby girl was now off to another home where she'll find new family members and have a new family and life and for that he was happy. But even though he could come to meet her whenever he wanted, still he felt the overwhelming rush of pain but happiness at the same time.

And that was the worst state a person could ever be. The condition where one is crushed between different emotions at the same time.

Minerva smiled at her father who cupped her face in his hands and kissed her forehead. Minerva hugged him and he hugged her back.
