(Warning: This chapter has some violence involved but it's kind of a main part of the story so I wouldn't recommend skipping it but it's kind of up to you and how you take things)
I look to see and there he was. Nick standing there, gun in hand pointing at us.
Shawn shoves me behind him.
"What are you doing?! You're putting yourself in danger!" I whisper yell.
"Just stay behind me!" he says back.
"Enough secret conversation," Nick says.
"What do you want Nick?" Shawn says.
"What do I want? I'll tell you what I want. I want her!" he says pointing at me.
"Me? What do you want from me?!" I ask.
"I've been in love with you ever since we were kids. You might not remember but I do. I love you and you would have too if this idiot wouldn't have come along," he says now pointing to Shawn.
"Why would I ever love you when you're here trying to kill us?!" I say.
"You would. Believe me you would," he says.
"Nick, take your gun and leave right now," I say.
"No. I've had enough of this. You either belong to me or to no one, he says.
"Are you crazy?!" I ask.
"Yes, crazy for you," he says.
"You're mental!" I say.
"Now I'm done with this. Say goodbye," he says.
"You can't shoot stop!" I say.
"Nick stop. Put the gun down and stop this," Shawn says.
"No. I'm done," he says.
He aims the gun towards Shawn and I was about to jump in front of him but Shawn held me back. He pulls the trigger and it hits Shawn right in the stomach.
"Shawn!" I yell.
He puts his hand over the wound and slowly falls down.
"No! Shawn!" I say.
I kneel down next to him and take his hands away from his wound. I hold his hand with one of my hands and press on his wound with the other.
"How could you do this?!" I yell at Nick.
"Don't worry. Now you guys can be together," he says aiming the gun at me.
He pulls the trigger and it hits my side. I feel pain over take me and I feel my knees give out. I feel the coldness of the rooftop on my cheek.
"Don't even worry about yelling. No one will hear or see you from up here. Bye," he says and he leaves.
"Destiny," I hear Shawn say in a quiet voice.
"Shawn," I say, my voice barely coming out and pain coming from talking.
"Hold....my..hand," he says.
I see he had put out his hand and I reach over to hold it.
"I....love..you. Don't..be..scared," he says.
"I..love..you..too. I'm..not..scared," I say and I clear my throat and try my hardest to say the last part as clear as I can, "I have you. I'm not alone."
I feel a squeeze on my hand and I feel my eyes getting heavy and the next second, darkness takes over.
