Seven Moroi turned. Three juniors and four seniors. My book is found within one of the seniors' closet. Together with the news of seven students turning Strigoi and suspected of stealing the book, the appearances of my new found Royal Guardians were reported in to the Court as well.

Right now, Uncle Eddie, Derrick and Ryan were with me. With six Royal Guardians, they manage to come up with shifts for guarding me. Any thoughts of me trying to argue for having three guardians were forgotten; all of them, under Chad's influence, were starting to grow too comfortable around me, hence ignoring any protests I had.

By right, we were supposed to leave for St. Basil's tomorrow, but there a command from Court, directly from Guardian Croft that we were to stay put until further notice. However, it didn't stopped dad from telling us to get ready to leave anytime.

In this week staying in St. Apostle's, I barely saw my parents unless something happened. My time were spent more with Chad, with the other boys joining in as they were recognized by the Jewel.

"Where are the others?" I asked. Honestly, since at least a couple of them will be sleeping in my dorm, I doubt they needed shifts. What are the others doing now?

Uncle Eddie looked up and smiled. "I don't think you will appreciate knowing where they are." He replied, still smiling.

"This only increase my curiosity." I said, frowning. Uncle Eddie laughed.

"Training. With Dimitri and Rose." He said, adding in the last part when he saw my confused expression.

"Why do it separately? Why not train everyone together? And why am I not included?" I shoot out, questions coming out as fast as they are forming.

Macon and Ryan glance towards Uncle Eddie at my firings. Okay, maybe not as comfortable as I thought. Uncle Eddie and Chad were the ones who dared to "subdue" me. Be it verbally or physically, they were the ones, besides my parents, to deal with me.

"Are you up to it?" Uncle Eddie asked.

"What do you mean?"

"It's not just physical training. It includes learning how to be a Royal Guardian. If you join in, there will be a change in syllabus. It will include how to be a leader." Uncle Eddie summarised.

I got what he meant. Since the novices were pulled out of their classes to officially be appointed as my guardians, their studies have to be completed in another way. With additional subjects. Subjects like, "How to make sure your charge, aka the Queen doesn't create trouble" , "To be familiar with your Queen's tactics to create trouble".

Well, at least that is what I assume my mom would name those subjects. And a few more.

A thought entered my mind. "Are they working on magic?" I asked.

Uncle Eddie hesitated for a while before shaking his head slowly.

"No, I don't think so. No guardians or dhampirs ever have to deal with magic, I don't think any will be able to guide or teach." He replied.

"Why will we be working on magic? How does it concern us?" Derrick asked, piped with interest. Ryan was tuning in as well, his eyes sparkling with curiosity.

Uncle Eddie laughed and focus his eyes on me, a questioning look on them. I nodded, pointing a finger to myself.

"You guys will all be able to wield magic. Chad is the only one who managed to figure out his element. His is fire." I explained. Two pairs of eyes staring at me widened.
