Newt was in his element and so was I, Jacob could easily tell. Newt then took my hand and dragged me to the open area of a starry night.

"Ready to meet some others." He grinned.

"Yes, of course and don't be surprised if I know them." I said smiling. He smiled to.

He then let go of my hand and put his over his mouth. He yelled, sounding like a beast. I had a feeling it may have been an Erumpent but I was shocked by what I saw. Graphorns came running after his third yell. They were beautiful and I let a gasp. They were a different species then mine so they may be the only ones. Newt laughed at my reaction to the creatures. Jacob came up as Newt walked to them.

"You're alright. You're all right." Jacob looked confused, but I was loving it. A baby came from behind the two that appeared and the baby came to me. I gave a small whimper, wanting to pat it. "Hello, hello!" Newt said and he turned to me, "You can pat her." I yelped and started to do so.

"What are they?" Jacob asked.

"Graphorns." Newt and I said in illusion. We smiled at each other.

"Sadly they are they're the last breeding pair in existence. If I hadn't managed to save them, that could have been the end of Graphorns – for ever" Newt said, facing the one he patted again.

"I have a Graphorn, but he's different to these ones." I said. Newt stared at me with bright eyes.

The baby I was patting left and walked over to Jacob, I watched it lick his hand. Jacob hastily pats its head. Newt then throws some food and all three-go chasing it. As we walked I spotted a Fwooper fly around.

"So what – you, you rescue these creatures?" Jacob asked, fascinated.

"Yes," I said. Newt wanted to go into more detail, I could tell so he finished.

"That's right. Rescue, nurture and protect them, and I'm gently trying to educate my fellow wizards about them." He was pleased with himself for trying to help them by educating others.

The Fwooper I found sat on a perch as we entered a door. Newt and Jacob went ahead of me but I wanted to look at something quickly. I knew it when I saw it...it was a Runespoor. I got a good look, then ran to find Newt and Jacob.

"Hey - " I entered into a conversation between he two and Newt went red. Jacob just laughed at Newt. I looked around. "What did I miss?" I asked, hugely confused.

"Nothing...don't worry." Newt rushed, rubbing his neck and turning around. I shrugged my shoulders. He pulled the Bowtruckle from earlier out of his jacket. I ran to his side to look at him. I've always wanted to see one.

"Who's this?" I asked, smiling.

"Pickett. He had a cold. He needed some body warmth." Newt explained.

"Cute."

"Alright, on you hop" Newt said trying to make Pickett go onto the branch with the other Bowtruckle. He turned to me. "He has some attachment issues." He then went back to Pickett. "Now come on, Pickett. Pickett. No, they're not going to bully you...now, come on. Pickett!" he leaned closer and whispered.

I couldn't hear, but I looked at the other Bowtruckle, sticking their tongues out and pointing at him. Poor Pickett.

"All right. But that is exactly why they accuse me of favouritism..." He placed Pickett on his shoulder. Pickett bowed to me and I giggled. Newt rolled his eyes at the Bowtruckles behaviour. "I wonder where Dougal's gone."

"Who's Dougal?"

"My Demiguise." He walked over to a nest and it seemed to be full of silver. As I joined him, he started acting differently. "All right I'm coming...I'm coming. Mum's here – Mum's here."

I looked at what he was talking to, so I could understand. I looked over and saw baby Occamy. I giggled at how he treated them, like he was really a mother.

"Ah – hello you – let me take a look at you." While he picked the Occamy up Jacob came over from looking at the Mooncalf.

"I know these guys." He pointed at the one in Newt's arms.

"How?" I asked.

"One hatched at the bank. This one is a new Occamy. Your Occamy." He looked to Jacob when he said, 'your Occamy', he looked shocked.

"What do you mean? My Occamy?" he seemed confused, even I was, and I was a professional.

"Yes – do you want to..." he offered him to Jacob. He hesitated.

"Oh wow...yeah, sure. Okay...ah ha." Jacob takes him with care and moves to pat him. I stopped him.

"Don't do that. They learn to protect themselves when they are born because they have pure, soft silver in their eggs. A reason my Niffler's on the other side of my case." Newt seemed impressed and surprised.

"What do you mean, 'your Niffler on the other side of your case'?"

"Carly, my Niffler, loves silver and doesn't really like gold." I state. Newt seems confused.

"Odd, I know."

"Okay..." Jacob says.

"Yes, their nests tend to get ransacked by hunters." I finished. Newt took the Occamy from Jacob.

"Thank you. Mr Scamander? Miss Opera?" Jacob addressed me and Newt.

"Please just call me Evangeline. My last name reminds me of my mother to much." I said, Jacob seemed upset that he hurt me.

"Call me Newt, too" Newt added.

"What happened to your mother, Evangeline?" Jacob asked, stepping towards me. I took a breath...I hadn't even told Newt what happened to my mother.

"My mother...she – uh – she was...sorry" I faced Jacob. It was hard for me to talk about my mother. My father, Walter was driven into madness when she died.

"You don't have to talk about it if you don't want..." Newt stated, getting quite the more he went on. I nodded and walked towards him. I leaned towards his ear and whispered,

"I'll tell you privately..." I leaned back and he nodded.

"Newt...I don't think I'm dreaming." Jacob suddenly changed the topic. I mouthed a 'thank you' and Newt walked around me to him.

"What gave it away?"

"I ain't got the brains for this." He gestured to everything. "Or this" then to me and Newt. I could feel myself going red and turned around so Newt couldn't see.

Stupid Jacob. I smiled.
