Queenie and Tina stared at him while I walked to him, I need to take a look at Jacob quickly or things could get bad.

"You need to sit down, honey. Hey - " she ran to him as he fell onto the couch, " – he hasn't eaten anything all day. And - " she paused again. I looked at her confused. " – aww, that's rough." Then it clicked. " – he didn't get the money he wanted for his bakery. You, bake honey? I love to cook." She gave Jacob a smile and he didn't know what to do. Newt seemed to realise what I had.

"You're a Legiliments?" he asked.

"Uh huh, yeah." She said, moving her eyes from Jacob to Newt. "But I always have trouble with your kind. Brits. It's the accent." She stated.

"You know how to read minds?" I looked at Jacob with shock. I didn't really interact with muggles so I wouldn't think they would be able to tell what it meant.

"Aww, don't worry honey." Her voice going even dreamer if possible and facing Jacob again. "Most guys think what you was thinking first time they saw me."

Tina pushed hair behind her ear and Hillary disappeared while Newt went back to looking outside. Queenie grabbed her wand and pointed it to Jacob.

"Now, you need food." She walked with Tina giggling and Jacob let a breath go, that he probably didn't know he was holding.

I heard a slightly high-pitched sound and turned to Newt, he was already pushing the curtains away. I walked up to him and placed a hand on his shoulder. I saw the Billywig before it flew off. My case rattled again. Newt looked at me.

"Come with me to find my creatures. We can catch up while looking for them." He asked, he seemed to be begging me to come. I nodded and he smiled.

My hand slipped off his shoulder and my head drifted to Queenie and Tina who were pulling out plates and making food. Newt tapped me, I turned around and his eyes went to the door. I got the idea and we moved closer to it. It felt like old times, sneaking into the Forbidden Forest at Hogwarts and not getting caught by a teacher. I eyed Jacob, who seemed to busy at looking at Queenie to notice we were moving. Newt reached the door but Queenie was already one step ahead.

"Hey, Mr Scamander, you prefer pie or strudel?" she asked. Newt's hand still rested on the knob and replied.

"I really don't have a preference." She then turned to me. Tina looked upset.

"What about you, Miss Opera, pie or strudel?" She gave me a weird look in her eyes that I couldn't read.

"I don't mind. Either is fine." I said while I heard claw marks being made in my case. I looked down to it and Queenie moved to Jacob.

"You prefer strudel, huh, honey." She gave a huge grin. Jacob was in the middle of putting a napkin in his shirt and nodded and started to giggle.

I smiled then turned to face Newt. I could tell he felt bad for not giving a solid answer to Queenie, but he needed his creatures to be safe more than anything.

"Strudel it is." Queenie said. I watched Queenie make the strudel with the ingredients flying everywhere. Jacob seemed amazed by what was happening, but that was what wizards did. Once she was finished, she added some small things and made the candles light up. Other sides were being placed while Jacob smelt all the food, hungry yet impressed. Tina then turned to us and Hillary came out.

"Well sit down, Mr Scamander, Miss Opera. We're not going to poison you." Tina then turned to Hillary as Queenie took a seat.

"I can't stay. I have work for Mr Graves that needs to be done, but I'll be back in the morning." She went around and hugged Tina and Queenie then Apparated out of the room.

I heard a small squeak come form Newt's jacket and saw a little Bowtruckle. Newt's hand slipped form the knob and turned to look at me. I went and sat at the couch, while Newt sat with the others. I couldn't here the conversations they had.

Today was to much, seeing Newt again after 12 years, meeting Tina, Queenie, Hillary and Jacob and having my case shack most of the day was too much for me. I couldn't eat and wouldn't sleep tonight. I heard Newt say that Jacob should get to bed and about his Niffler and I needed to come with him. I smiled to myself that he cared so much for his creatures and for him wanting me to come. I missed my best friend. Newt came to me and lead me to the room Jacob, he and I would all share. I could see the feeling in his eye for sleep, even though he wouldn't until his pets where safe. We went to bed and waited for night to take over.
