"Credence...it's Credence isn't it?" Newt calmly started, trying his best not to scare him away. "I'm here with someone and we want to help you, Credence. We're not here to hurt you." Newt heavily breathed as he spoke, still trying not to scare him. As Newt turned his head to see what 'Credence's' reaction would be, my ears picked up the sound of foot-steps. I pushed the sound to the back of my mind and turned to 'Credence'. I could just see the outline of the scared boy. "I've met someone just like you, Credence. A girl – a young girl who'd been imprisoned, she had been locked away and she'd been punished for her magic." Newt told 'Credence'. He moved towards 'Credence' and I followed. We were now walking, slightly next to one of the track lines.

"I have as well, Credence. A boy – a younger boy whom I tried to save. I couldn't for he was killed." I spoke, Newt turned back to me, watching me speak. "I don't want the same to happen to you, Credence. And if it was to happen, I would never forgive myself. Please, let us help you." I finished. Newt and I moved our heads to see 'Credence' back to Credence, shivering on the floor, terrified and lonely. He must have felt a-little relieved to now he's not the only person this had happened to, we crouched down to his level to not scare him more as he looked at us.

"Credence, can we come over to you? Can we come over?" Newt asked, trying to gain his trust.

"It's ok if you don't, we can stay here if you like." I told him, he moved his head, shaking it slightly and I smiled that he allowed us to come. Newt stood, ready to move to him, but I stayed down. I don't want to scare him more then he already was. A light unexpectedly came out of the darkness of the train tunnel and hit Newt, he yelled at the sudden impact. I stood quickly as Graves marched down the tunnel, a shiver went down my spine as he came. I heard another lot of foot-steps and could tell Credence was running. Graves started to fire spells at me, I deflected them with a simple shield spell, protecting Newt as he rolled out of reach. He got up and raced behind the pillar and pulled me as Graves fired another spell. The spell hit the bricks of the pillar and I was covered in dust. Why did I push that noise to the back of my head? I questioned myself. I was then drawn away from the broken wall as Newt got by it. He pushed his left shoulder to the wall, letting his right arm fly, shooting a spell at Graves. I could tell he deflected it as I heard the break of a spell and the swish of a wand. Newt grabbed my hand and dragged me along, running away from Graves. Lights then caught my eye as I saw Credence in front of them. He was pushed away by a force Graves must have conjured. Newt pulled me up onto the platform as Graves put his attention back on us. He ran towards the both of us and fired another spell. For I was not ready, and Newt didn't see, we were thrown back onto the tracks at the impact of the spell. As we got up, Graves had jumped onto the platform, gaining higher ground, getting advantage over us. He continued to duel with us, as Newt blocked spells from Graves I turned my head to see Credence behind me. I took a quick step to him. "Credence, please – you need to get cover. We can't let him hurt you." I whispered, but loud enough so he could hear me over the sound of breaking spells. He nodded and took multiple steps back, getting away. Newt turned his head as he must have heard my instructions for Credence. Graves took this as an advantage as my wand was by my side. He shot a spell at the tracks making us fly high into the air. I however landed on the platform, badly hurting my back as I fell on it. I could hear Newt meeting the ground on his back as well. Graves walked to me and I shivered again. He moved his hand, so I floated in the air, sudden impact knocked my head as he moved me to slam into the wall. He kept one arm on me and moved to deal with Newt. I saw him slash out a spell I had been thought on him in a whip-like motion. I could hear the screams of the Cruciatus curse on my best friend. Graves did it repeatedly and had a killer look in his eyes, most likely ready to kill Newt. Newt let out an immense scream and I tried to move, tears starting to form in my eyes at the sound of his screams. As he continued he turned his head to me and moved his hand making me cower. He suddenly stopped attacking on Newt and dragged me on the floor, my head falling off the edge of the platform and my body was still flat. Newt looked to me, fear in his eyes.

"No!" He yelled as Graves pointed his wand at me. A sudden miracle happened as an unnatural sound was heard. It seemed to all happen in slow motion. Credence had lost control of his Obscures and turned back into darkness. He starts to cover the subway in pitch darkness and Graves pulls his wand away. I could just hear Graves call Credence as the Obscures let out another unearthly scream. Graves quickly Disapparated as well as Newt as the Obscurial blasted the tunnel, and everything went fast. I just had enough energy to make myself Disapparated and reappear by the broken pillar. Seconds later Newt landed next to me and pulled me into his arms, helping me up as he stood. He held one hand at my waist the other holding my face. The Obscurial destroyed everything it could inside the subway.

"Newt..." I barely whispered, he shot his head to me, worried to death.

"I don't have the energy to Apparate – can you help me." A tear slid down my face as I asked him.

"Of course." He replied, wiping the tear of my cheek. He grabbed my hand but still held my waist. As the Obscures lost more control, Newt Apparated the both of us somewhere else. It was hard for me to see as I grew dizzy from lack of energy and so much traveling. Newt stopped on the platform as the darkness raised to the broken roof to reach the skies. As it came back down I got back my consciousness and was aware of everything. It roared, showing a face as Newt and I cowered on the floor.

"CREDENCE, NO!" a scream called.
