It was now the next day and Newt and I were leaving. We had tied rope around our cases, so no one escaped. Tina wanted to see us off, form Hillary was still in hospital with a broken arm and Queenie want to be by herself. I was really worried about her. I was wearing my Ravenclaw scarf as Newt wore his Hufflepuff one. As we reached out boat we stopped.

"Well it's been..." Newt began, smiling. It seemed him and Tina were good friends.

"Hasn't it!" she exclaimed. Newt and I look to Tina, a smile on her face. "Listen, Newt, Evangeline, I wanted to thank you both."

"What on earth for?" Newt questioned.

"Well, you know, if you hadn't have said all those nice things to Madam Picquery about me and Hillary – we wouldn't be back on the investigation team now." Tina thanked.

"Tina, you and Hillary are our friends. Friends do things like that for each other." I told her.

"Well – I can't think of anyone that I'd rather have investigative me then you and Hillary." Newt suddenly said, smiling. I giggled at his comment and he looked to me, a grin on his face.

"Well try not to need investigating for a bit." Tina suggested.

"I will. Quite life for me from now on...back to the Ministry...deliver my manuscripts..." Newt told her.

"I'll look out for it. Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them." Tina smiled.

"EVIE!" I heard, seeing Soman run up to me and Newt.

"Soman? What are you doing?" I asked before being tackled by his weight.

"Come, I need to give you something." Soman then pulled me away as Newt stared at us.

"What do you want?" I asked, frustrated. Soman then pulled something from his box, but I was to busy listening to Tina and Newt continue a conversation.

"Does Leta Lestrange like to read?" she asked. Soman then opened the box, but I was to busy listing to Newt to focus on Soman.

"Who?" Newt questioned, confused on why she asked.

"The girl whose picture you carry - "

"Evie? Hello? Do you not like it?" Soman's voice scared me, making me look to him.

"What? Oh, my griffin!" I looked down to see a beautiful bracelet. (pic at top)

"It's one of Mimi's scales." He explained. "Who is that guy anyway, cause he's looking at you." Soman asked, I didn't turn around but could feel his eyes on me.

"That's the guy I always talk about, you know...Newt..." I whispered. Soman made a 'o' shape with his lips.

"Well, he's cute and a keeper." He winked at me and I blushed. "Well I got to go, bye." and he ran off.

"Bye Soman."

"You really love her, don't you?" I heard Tina ask Newt, I tilted my head, so I could see Newt's reaction. He was still looking at me and turned a-little pink at her words. He looked back to her and took a quick breath.

"Yes...yes, I do." Newt smiled. I walked back to them, my face burning. "But I don't know what Leta likes, because people change." Newt brushed off.

"Yes." Tina replied, looking to me.

"I've changed. I think. Maybe a little." I smiled as he came to a realisation, that he indeed had changed. The horn of the boat went off and me and Newt looked to it. "I'll send you a copy of my book, if I may." Newt told her. She seemed to be holding back tears.

"I'd like that." She said. Newt looked to her and I did to. I walked to her and gave her a quick hug.

"Say goodbye to Hillary and Queenie for me, would you. I'm worried about them." I asked Tina, I felt her nod against my shoulder as we held each other. Once we let go, Newt looked to her. He reached his hand up and brushed a piece of her hair behind her ear. He then took my hand, ready to leave and we started to walk. Newt then let go and went back to Tina, I stood still waiting for him.

"I'm so sorry – how would you feel if I gave you a copy in person?" Newt asked her. She smiled again, nearly crying.

"I'd like that – very much." She coughed. Newt smiled at her then came and walked back to me.

"Let's go..." he told me. We walked up the ramp, hand in hand. We stopped, and I turned.

"Goodbye, Tina." I cried.

"Goodbye, Evangeline." Tina waved. Newt and I continued to walk onto the ship, the conductor tilting his hat, leaving Tina and the rest of America.

As we reached the deck of the boat, Newt and I sat down.

"What happens know?" I ask him, he looks to me, placing his case down.

"We do whatever we want to do. And for me...that's to be - " he paused, took a breath and tried again.

"that's to be with you." We smiled at each other and I rested my head on his shoulder, falling asleep as he rapped his arm around my shoulder...
