As Newt let me go, helping me up all I saw was what was left. Dark particles were everywhere, and I felt a tear slide down my cheek...I was unable to save another child. Graves had walked up onto the platform, trying to see any remains of Credence. I could hear Tina's small sobs as she laid on the floor, near her hurt cousin. I felt Newt's hand slip into hold mine, he must have felt guilty and upset that he failed Credence.

"You fools. Do you realise what you've done?" Graves spoke, Tina's sobs becoming quieter.

"The Obscurial was killed on my orders, Mr Graves" I heard the strict, stern voice of Madam Picquery as she emerged though the crowd of Aurors.

"Yes. And history will surely note that, Madam President." Graves shot back. I could hear Graves move along the platform as he spoke, his tone threatening. "What was done here tonight was not right!"

"He was responsible for the death of a No-Maj. He risked the exposure of our community. He - "

"He didn't know – what he was doing. He didn't know that he could kill someone – HE DIDN'T KNOW!" I argued. I felt everyone's eyes on me as Newt squeezed my hand to try calm me down.

"Miss Opera – he broke one of our most sacred laws." Madam President shot back, angry and annoyed that I had interrupted her.

"A law that has us scuttling like rats in the gutter! A law that demands that we conceal our true nature! A law that directs those under its dominion to cower in fear lest we risk discovery! I ask you Madam President - " Graves addressed to everyone, " – I ask you. Who does this law protect? Us?" he gestured to the Aurors, "Or them?" he pointed up to the broken roof to the Muggles up top. "I refuse to bow down any longer." He finished, he moved back down the platform, wanting to exit. A shiver went down my spine as he walked past Newt and me.

"Aurors, I'd like you to relieve Mr Graves of his wand and escort him back to - " Madam President ordered. As Graves reached the area 'Credence' had been moments ago, a white, light barrier stopped him. He stopped, I lifted my eyes to him as he stood there and thought. He nodded his head and swished back to face the group of wizards. He started to walk back, but I could see he was raising his wand slightly. Suddenly, his hand swung around, breaking the barrier and firing spells at the Aurors. Spells fly back at Graves from every angle possible and he stops them all as if it was easy. I caught a glimpse of his face as Aurors fell from their own spells. His face showed nothing but determination and a thrust for a kill. Why do I fell like I have seen that before? Newt then pulled me down, crouching as he realised the Swooping Evil. It flew up, bouncing spells of its strong back and protecting the Aurors, Tina and Hillary, Newt and myself. As the Swooping Evil came down by me, Newt fired a spell at Graves, sending creep-like vines to hold him back. He pulled his wand, keeping him still.

"Accio!" I heard Tina yell as she stood over Hillary, still lying on the floor and breathing. I sighed knowing she was ok. Tina caught Graves' wand as he looked at her, Newt and I, hatred in his eyes. Newt pulls me onto the platform as we walk to Graves, he then suddenly raised his wand again, curiosity in his eyes.

"Revelio."
