Keith loved it, the headspace, the clothes, the feeling. He loved all of it. Being a little was the high of his life. It took all of the stress that he had built up away, and it would stay buried until he would be a big boy again.
Right now he wasn't being a big boy like most teens his age. He was in his little space, somewhere he loved to stay. It made him feel safe, and secure but also vulnerable at the same time. Something he has never felt in the longest of times.
Regressing was a way Keith could deal with, or push away the pain in his life. His parents leaving, the lonely house. The silent school, everything terrified him. This was the only coping mechanism that he liked to use.
Most littles were closeted, not wanting to show their true colours as they fear rejection and hate from others. Contently keeping their head spaces for themselves only. Especially Keith, he was never open to having anyone else know about his 'hobby'.
It was a huge part of his personality and he liked that about himself. He could be angry Keith during school, but when he got home he was shy Keith, pouty Keith, excited Keith. Happy Keith. He was happy. And that was all that mattered to him.
But he wanted someone more than anything. He would convince himself that he didn't but he would often catch himself colouring a picture and wondering that, if he had one, would his daddy like it? He had to stop himself at the thought, he didn't want a caregiver, he was content.
Keith felt himself coming out of his headspace at the war inside his brain and pouted, looking at the window. He did want a caregiver, and he knew that. He just didn't want to admit it, too many people have left him to count.
Keith felt himself become a big boy again and angrily chucked the colouring book under his bed. He sighed as he looked down at his clothes. He smiled lightly. He had a mid thigh length purple jumper and white knee high socks. He looked in the mirror trying to regress again but couldn't.
"Stupid brain" He mumbled before walking through to the kitchen. He opened the cupboards and frowned realising he only really has instant foods in. His shift at the coffee store was still 2 hours away but he was starting to get hungry. He pouted as he walked through the house.
"I could buy food but..." He sighed and hunted around for yesterdays wages. He passed the living room table and spotted his wallet. He opened it up and found a small pink card inside. He sighed as he read the name.
Littles Alike- A safe place to be yourself. He smiled lightly remembering his old best friend. Her name was Katie, they were really close. He even found out she was a little too and they both shared headspaces. But she left town about a year ago, leaving Keith. She gave Keith the card since it was a club she was a part of but he never was interested, he just kept it to remember her.
He runs to his room and puts some black skinny jeans and a light purple shirt. He wanted to still feel like he was little but didn't want to draw attention. He sighed and put a black leather jacket over the top.
He looked emo and he hated it, he didn't want people looking at him like he was an outcast.
He sighed and put a small piece of blue cloth in his pocket, to hold when he walked, it gave him a sense of comfort with all the loud noises and people. He walked over to a small picture on his desk. He smiled lightly, picking it up. It was him and Katie hugging, cheeks smushed against each other.
Keith in pastel pink and Katie in blue. Keith has a small pink choker and a matching paci half falling out of his mouth. While Katie had light pink lipstick and a white paci doing the same. Both of their teeth were bared, showing white happy smiles and Keith's eyes squeezed shut.
