Raindrops- [Klance/Leith] - Age Regression AU

It was nearly Friday.

Keith didn't know what to think. He wanted to believe Ashley was lying, but he couldn't. He had trust issues, a lot of them. To a normal person, Ashley may have been lying. But to Keith, it was a warning.

He sat next to the window, watching the rain pat down, a single drop slid all the way down the window pane. He always loved the rain, it made him regress. But he had too much to think about for regression now. 
He was ignoring Lances messages and not picking up when he called.
He wasn't going to regress at all Friday night, he doesn't know if he can even... go. Katie was staring at him from the other side of the room, worried.

'Who has upset him?' She wonders but just bites her lip and decides to give him some space. Talking to Keith when he has like this wouldn't get her anywhere. 
'I need Shiro' She decides and walks over to her phone. She dials the number and walks to her room, shutting the door behind her. 

The phone rings for a while before a voice, certainly not Shiro's answers. 
"Hello?" Katie stops speaking. 
"Hello?" The voice asks again. Katie clears her throat. 
"Um, who is this?" The voice stops. 

"Oh! This is Adam! Takashi is in the shower right now and told me to answer it. I'm sorry I didn't mention" Katie breathes out, she should have remembered his voice. 
"Oh... This is kind of a Shiro thing..." 
"Hmm, okay, two moments." Katie hears the phone be put down and distant shouting.

"Takashi asked you just to tell me, but I understand if you want to just call back." 
"Tell him it's about Keith" Adam agrees and walks away again.

"Takashi it's about Keith!" Katie hears and then stomping. Adam laughs and walks back. 
"He's coming, shut the shower off faster than you could imagine- wait are you- Takashi you're trailing water through the sitting room! Put some clothes on, the towel is going to fall!" Katie giggles a little on the end of the phone before shaking her head. 

"What's wrong with Keith!?" She hears the familiar voice, 
"Hey Shiro it's nice to see you too." 
"Ah sorry, how are you?" 
"Well I'm a bit stumped, I was hoping you could take Keith out for a bit"
"Why...?" 

Katie sighs. 
"For the past couple days he's really been not himself and he's not reg-" Katie stops herself and bites her lip. 
"He's not what?" Shiro asks and Katie curses herself mentally. 
"He's not regularly eating. He's not gone out the house unless it is for work either. I don't think I could get him out of this, but you can." 

The line goes silent. 
"Shiro?" 
"Give me 10 minutes, thanks Katie" Katie goes wide eyed. 10 minutes?! It took Keith and her 25 minutes to walk to his house. 
"Okay... Thanks Shiro" 

The line goes dead and Katie walks back through to the sitting room. All in all it was very depressing, no little toys or gear anywhere to be seen, the TV was turned off, a lamp was on, only barley lighting the room, curtains had now been closed and Keith was nowhere to be seen. 

Katie sighed and waked around the room, turning everything on and making it look alive. She sits on the couch and turns a random channel on, not really caring. She sighs as she sits and watches it. She knew she should be there, comforting Keith. But from experience, she knows Keith needs Shiro.

About 10 minutes pass and just like he said, Shiro was outside the apartment. Katie rushes over to the door and unlocks it. She laughs a little when she sees Shiro's hair was wet. 
"How did you get here so fast?" Shiro points behind him. Katie peers over to see Adam in a car. She smiles and waves. He laughs and waves back.
