Lance walked down the streets with a new found happiness. He didn't know what Hunk did throughout these couple weeks, but it has helped so much.

Yet, even though he is happy, he can't stop thinking about Keith. In a sense, he was more so hurt and angry then sorrowful. He was angry that Keith doesn't believe him.

What ticked him off more was when Pidge was explaining why Keith was upset. It made him angry that Keith believed he would do that to him.

He hadn't tried to talk to him, every time he saw him he remembered how close they were. He was basically a caregiver for Keith. He was there nearly every night. And all of that was just thrown away with the snap of a finger.

Granted, he wanted to talk to him, more than anything. But he wasn't sure if he would give Lance the time of day to sit and explain things from his point of view. He wished when Keith had asked about his past little that lance had came out and told him everything that had went on. Maybe then this wouldn't be happening.

He tried to clear his thoughts as he walked down to the store. He told Hunk he would take his shift and his own today to make up for everything he did for him. Hunk assured Lance it was okay but Lance was having none of it.

Lance reached the store and took out the keys. He had a good feeling about today, and he didn't know why. It just felt like a good day.

He opened the store door and headed inside, Shay was still sick and he was getting a little worried but Hunk assured him it was just the flu and she was getting medication for it. Which was a relief.

Lance turned off the night generator, for the fridges and freezers, and replaced it with the daytime one before starting to stack a few of the shelves.

He was stacking one shelf when the door jingles, signalling someone coming in. It was quite early so he was a little shocked. Lance called out. "I'll be with you in a moment!" Lance heard the person hum in acknowledgment, since it was a small store and quickly headed back to the register.

Lance froze.
"Hey Lance." The man spoke. Lance bit his lip and smiled.
"Hey adam; long time no speak." Adam nodded and handed Lance a bag of apples and a carton of milk.

Lance quickly took them and scanned both of them, the silence incredibly awkward. Adam notices this and sighs.
"Look about-" Lance cuts him off.
"I'm sorry, I'm in a good mood today I don't need this." Lance said but soon realised how mean it sounded.

"S-Sorry I-" Adam raised a hand and shook his head with a small smile. Lance bit his lip and got up Adams recipt.
"That'll be $2.50" Adam smiled and handed over the money.

"I wanted to apologise." Adam said and Lance went silent. Lance tried to speak but no words came out. Adam rubbed the back of his neck lightly.
"Well, on behalf of Shiro and me." Lance raised an eyebrow.

"Well, I know we were quick to judge you. And it wasn't fair that Shiro went all dad lecture on you, me also. I just think you deserve an apology, you're a good guy Lance." Adam smiled and Lance sat, mouth open before handing Adam his receipt.
