Dawn couldn't help but watch the interesting gray female Protector as she paced around the room while they found their groups. She clearly made her coworker very uncomfortable. He thought it was strange, he had heard of Chief before, given the Protector was often seen on the news. However, he never heard of 'Nyxie' before.

"Hi, I'm Julie! I think I'm in your guys group?" A redhead in a sports tee and basketball shorts spoke up, grabbing Dawn's attention. "Yeah I think so! I'm Milly, and this is my brother Dawn." Milly's face was lit up brighter than Dawn was used to, which meant one thing. Support-Talent. He glanced around the room, quietly coming to the conclusion that the three of them were the only Support-talents in the room. Guess they grouped us together to keep track of the 'liabilities'.

"It's really nice to meet you! I'm a Support-Talent, Force Fields, how about you guys?" Julie was very forward, making Dawn uneasy. Milly just gave him a look and replied back. "We're Support as well! Analyzation and Healing." Julie gasped as she looked at Milly intensely. "You have a healing talent???" This caused Milly to chuckle a little. "Ah. No, no not me... Dawn." If Dawn was not accustom to this he would have been insulted and he would have said something, but this was to be expected. The few healers that have been recorded have all been female, and it was thought for a long time that it was only able to be found in females, but then Dawn happened.

"For real!?!" She boomed out, catching the attention of everyone in the room. Dawn shrunk into himself as Nyxie stopped her pacing and started over to them. Her steps echoed through the room as she walked. Towering over the three of them as she looked them over, white eyes piercing into their beings, and Dawn understood. He understood why Chief was so uncomfortable around her. There was an unsettling cold around her, and her skin and eyes looked of that which was dead, yet it was strangely familiar. A sudden flash of the memory of the Nyx came to him. Nyxie... it's a slur. They're saying that she's one of them... that death follows her!

Dawn swallowed hard.

"So, what's got you rookies all worked up, hm?" Her voice was so clear as she cocked an eyebrow. Dawn was taken aback. He was sure that they were going to be scolded. "N-Nothing Miss." He managed to get out.

Her face visible softened when she turned to him. "Please, don't call me Miss. Nyxie is just fine." She glanced over the group again. "What's your names?"

It took a moment before any of them spoke. Clearly none of them had any idea about whether or not they should reply. Then, thanks to their new friend, the ice was broken. "I-I'm Julie." "And I'm Milly. This is-" "-I'm Dawn." He felt bad for interrupting his sister, but he felt that this was someone that he needed to introduce himself to.

Nyxie smiled gently through her mask, even though it covered everything from her nose down. "I'll be looking forward to seeing you all in action." And with that, she went back to pacing the room.

There was a whiff of smoke.

Dawn's heart was louder than normal.
