Marinette's POV

I unlocked the door to my suite and walked inside, tossing my keys into the table again. Nino and Alya were watching a movie on the couch and their phones were across the room, probably so they wouldn't peek at their schedules. The cart was pushed to the side with all our boxes still piled on it.

"I'm here!" I announced cheerfully. They both twisted their heads and smiled at me,
"Finally! We can look at our schedules!" Nino cheered, getting up to get his and Alya's phones.

I giggled and settled onto the couch beside Alya, pulling out my phone and clicking on the email. Nino tossed her her phone and they both looked at their emails as well.

"Ballet, and Fashion Design!" I exclaimed. The two main courses I had chosen for this year, with the help of Nathaniel.
Great. Now I'm thinking about him again.

I blinked away my tears and looked at the rest of my classes.
"Ballet and Music!" Nino shouted, pumping his fist in the air.
"Ballet and Journalism!" Alya screamed happily.

We'd all chosen Ballet so we'd most likely have at least one class together each day. The way everything worked was you get 2 creative main courses for the year. Then each semester you get 1 creative minor course. Obviously you also get the default required ones as well.

I'm aware this isn't how college actually works, but just go with it?

"Ooh, my minor course is gymnastics. Why'd I let myself get talked into signing up for that?" I groaned, thinking about how much I'd embarrass myself later.

"I'm sure you'll be the best beginner in your class. My minor is volleyball." Alya said, staring intently at her phone screen.
"Mine is soccer!" (American) Nino celebrated. We shared the rest of our schedules and found we all had our Math class and History together.
Curfew on weekdays was 10:00 but on the weekends it was 12:00.

"Oh guys! Remember Luka? Juleka's older brother?"
"Yeah, the one who left to study abroad?" Nino remembered.
"Exactly! He's going here! I bumped into him earlier and we're going out to dinner." I smiled, thinking about meeting up with my old friend.

"Oooh. Didn't you have a crush on him before?" Alya raised her eyebrow and smirked.
"Maybe." I mumbled. This caused her to start fangirling hard, she squealed and bounced around on the couch.

"How exciting!" She poked my arm and I swatted her away.
"Nothing's happening, Alya." I told her. "We're just friends, besides, I don't think I'm ready to do anything so soon."

Or ever. Luka is so talented. I can't do anything, it'd be a miracle if he even becomes my friend again.

"Ok..." She said incredulously. I rolled my eyes and shared an exasperated look with Nino.
"Anyways, let's unpack shall we? Nino, you should get back to your roommate, your phone has been buzzing since you got here." Nino laughed and nodded, got up, placed a kiss on Alya's forehead, patted my shoulder, and left.
"Let's get started!"

After about 2 hours, I had the all my clothes neatly in my closet and dresser, and the majority of my decor was up. My phone buzzed in reminder of my lunch plans with Tikki.

"Oh!" I exclaimed, grabbing my purse, phone, earbuds, and keys. I walked out of my room and straightened my braid. My knuckles tapped Alya's door lightly and it swung open.
