Chapter 35

Third Person POV

Firefly and Ladybug made their way over to the bar and ordered two waters. The two sat down on the stools, Ladybug panting with a huge smile on her face.

"That was amazing, Ladybug!" Firefly finally exclaimed, waiting until they were out of the crowd. On stage now there was another dance off going on, between Time breaker and Dark Cupid.

"I can't believe I actually just did that!" Marinette whispered to herself, still smiling like crazy as she took a sip from the water she was given.

"Well you did and I'm so proud!" Firefly thanked the waiter and drank her water as well. "I invited my friends over so they'll meet us here in a sec." Marinette nodded, leaning on the counter.

A few minutes later, as promised, two dancers emerged from the crowd and made their way over. It was Lady WiFi and the Bubbler.

"Hey, Fire! Ladybug. I just wanted to say your dancing was amazing! I never would've guessed you had never danced here before!" Lady WiFi complimented.
"Yeah. I mean, I voted for Chat but you did really well." Bubbler joined in. "What did you want to talk to us about?" He turned to Tikki.

"Oh! Right, so my friend Ladybug here made some masks." Firefly announced, unzipping her backpack. She handed the two their respective masks.

"Woah! These are soo cool! I never did like wearing this face paint." WiFi smiled, sticking the mask into her face. Bubbler did the same. "Wait, these look an awful lot like the one Chat Noir has. I was meaning to ask you, are you the real Ladybug?" Alya got all up in Ladybug's face. Marinette glanced over at Tikki. She nodded and shrugged.

"Yeah. Yeah that's me."
"No way! That's sick!" Bubbler shouted, his eyes widening. WiFi raised her eyebrow,
"Really? How do we know you're telling the truth?" She asked skeptically, crossing her arms.

"Hmm, oh! Tell me some quote for something, and I promise it'll be on my next line. Which is another back to school line by the way." Ladybug replied confidently, crossing her legs and leaning back.

"Ok. I want you to dedicate a shirt to me. With a WiFi symbol and a quote that says..." She tapped her chin, "'All I need is free WiFi and Coffee'  Yup. That's perfect!" Ladybug laughed,
"Ok. It's a deal."

The next morning...

Alya pounded on her best friends door and entered, laughing at the lump under the sheets.
"Wake up girl! Let's go to breakfast!" She shouted into her ear, shaking her violently.

"Arghhhh." Marinette groaned, flipping herself over and batting Alya away.
"I'll be waiting. You better be done by 7:00." Alya laughed, turning the blinding LED light on and shutting the door.

The bluenette sighed loudly before dragging herself out of the comfort of her warm covers. She shivered as she wandered to her bathroom and took a quick shower, blow drying and tying her hair into the usual pigtails.

Marinette picked out a nice outfit - a white short sleeved shirt with flowers on it, paired with a black skirt with daisies dotting it all around. She topped off her look with some light makeup and stepped out of her room at 7:01.

"Ok! Let's go! Everyone's meeting us down there." Alya exclaimed, dragging her best friend out of the door.

The two girls stepped into the elevator.
"Woah there. You look way more tired than usual girl. You good?" Alya asked, clearly concerned.
"What? Oh, yeah I'm ok. I just stayed up pretty late last night."
Not too late. When I got home you were asleep.
Alya thought.
