A/N: Ok so this chapter is Evan right after Connor punched him in the face if that makes any sense. So I told Connor's perspective right after he punched Evan but I never told Evan's so I just wanted to do that. Enjoy.
Evan's POV:
What the heck just happened? Did he just do that? I guess this is my fault isn't it? If I didn't tell Connor what I knew, what I felt. Maybe this wouldn't have happened and maybe both of us wouldn't have gotten hurt.
My head is throbbing with pain, I don't even want to lift my hands away and look at the damage. Suddenly there's a huge bang from outside my window, I pull my hands away and look outside. A car is suddenly stopped in the middle of the road and a body is laid out on the ground. Blood pouring out of the mouth, legs, and arms.
That isn't Connor is it? No it can't be. It isn't him it isn't him.
I step away and close my curtains shut. I sit on my bed.
I didn't see anything. I didn't see anything.
I look back over to my window again, I start to walk back then quickly turn around again.
Don't look, nothing's there. Nothing happened. I must be dreaming or something.
I walk over into the bathroom and look at the mirror. My eye is all puffy and red.
Shit, mom's gonna be home in an hour.
I try to wash my eye with soap and water but that just makes it even worse to the point where I can't even open that eye now. I sigh and walk back to my room, while holding my hand over my eye. I look over at my window again, I can hear sirens and a lot of talking.
I have to be dreaming.
I walk over and open up the curtains again, I look outside to see the body being carried into an ambulance. There's a woman standing by the car that hit the man, she's crying. There's police cars surrounding the whole scene, they start to block off the area with cones. I continue to watch, the man is now pulled into the ambulance and the ambulance starts to drive away.
It can't be Connor. Yet I know it's Connor, the long brown hair on that man is Connor's. But I don't want to believe it was. I don't want to believe that it was and that this is all my fault.
I can hear the garage door open.
Mom isn't home this early is she?
I look over to see Jared's car pull into the driveway.
Thank god it's just Jared.
Jared opens the car door and walks inside, first taking a glance over at the accident. The garage door closes and I can hear the door open. I walk into the living room, my hand still on my eye.
"Hey Hansen did you see that big accident over there?" Jared says.
I nod.
"Dude why are you covering your eye?"
"I-I uhhh no reason"
"No reason? Seriously Hansen how can anyone believe you"
"Really I'm fine it's just uhh my contact"
"Sureee"
"It is"
Jared can't know what happened.
"Uncover it then"
I sigh and uncover my eye, Jared stares at me and his eyes widen.
"Holy shit"
"I know I-" Jared cuts me off.
"Holy fucking shit"
"I banged my head against the wall"
Jared laughs. "How?"
"I-I don't know"
"Sure"
"I don't Jared"
"Anyway I'm gonna take a nap" Jared says and starts walking to my room.
"Couldn't you nap at your own house?" I ask.
"My dog wouldn't shut up, also your bed is more comfortable"
I sigh and look out the window again, everyone is gone, the blood is all cleaned up but the scene is still blocked off.
It wasn't Connor. It wasn't Connor.
