Evan's POV:

I lay on my bed bored, all I can think about is Connor. All I want is Connor. I sigh and look over at my phone, I see I have a new message form Jared and I go to pick up my phone.

Jared: Evan I'm gonna be on my university's bowling team

Evan: wtf Jared

Jared: not to brag or anything but I made it on varsity 😎😎

Evan: I've never seen you bowl in my entire life

Jared: I'm just naturally talented Hansen

Evan: whoever puts people on that varsity team is pretty dumb

Jared: ha just wait until you see me bowl you'll regret ever saying that. We have a competition this weekend you should come

Evan: no

Jared: if you don't come I will tell the Murphy's

Evan: what is there to tell them?

Jared: you know exactly what I'm talking about Hansen

Evan: actually I don't

Jared: I saw Connor's car on your street on Saturday and I know it was his

Evan: it wasn't

Jared: lies

Evan: it wasn't

Jared: you ignored a lot of my texts over the weekend

Evan: that doesn't mean Connor was here

Jared: oh really, cause both of you barely texted anyone over the weekend

Evan: Connor wasn't here

Jared: ok I didn't want to admit this but I accidentally butt dialed you and you answered and all I heard was moaning

Evan: did you hang up right after?

Jared: that doesn't matter

Evan: yes it does, cause if you didn't that's kinda weird like in a bad way

Jared: I hung up

Evan: when

Jared: like... 30 seconds into it

Evan: WHY DIDNT YOU HANG UP RIGHT AWAY

Jared: CAUSE I WAS CONFUSED AT FIRST AND THEN I REALIZED YOU WERE FUCKING CONNOR SO I WAS LIKE "OH SHIT" AND HUNG UP

Evan: you don't know I was fucking Connor, I could have been playing with my cat

Jared: playing with your cat? And moaning? Yeah that makes total since

Evan: it does

Jared: just admit it

Evan: Nope

Jared: Fine, then you'll admit it face to face

I get a FaceTime call from Jared and I hang up, he doesn't text me for a while and I start to get worried.

Jared, where the fuck did you go?

Soon I hear a knock on the door and I go to answer it and sure enough it's Jared, he just smiles and walks down the hall to my room, I follow him. I find him sitting on my bed just smiling.

"Hey Hansen why is it so messy in here?" He says.

"I-I uhh..."

"The only reason is Connor"

"No it's not"

"Yeah right, I know you better than anyone else"

I start to think about Connor and I start blushing real bad, Jared just laughs.

"Hansen you're blushing"

"I'm not" I say and turn around to walk out the door, Jared grabs me and pulls me back in.

"Ok fine! He was here all weekend and didn't want his parents to know cause he was worried they'd yell at him for coming home so early so he just stayed here" I say.

Jared laughs. "See I know you too well, now will you come to the competition or not?"

"Yes I'll go" I reply, he sighs and lays down on my bed.

"You better keep that promise Hansen"

"I will"

"Ok now time to beat you in Mario cart"
