Chapter 43

Evan's POV:

There's so much stuff going on right now it's hard to process. Jared, Connor, and Alex keep whispering stuff behind me and this lady has been touching my hair for so long now. Whatever she's putting in it is cold. All I know is that when I take this blindfold off, my hair is not gonna be as long as it was or the same color.

Fuck, this better be good.

Finally the blindfold comes off, I'm faced toward Jared, Alex, and Connor. They all just smile at me and I start to get a little worried. The hairdresser spins me around and I look in the mirror.

Holy shit.

My hair is now shorter on the sides and longer on the top, which I'll admit looks kinda cute. The color is actually what I like the most, it's this pastel pink color and it actually looks pretty good.

"Do you like it?" The hairdresser says.

"I-I love it" I say.

I run my hand through my new hair, it's so soft and beautiful.

Shit, Connor was right, I would love this.

I have no words.

"So... who's paying?" Jared says.

"Jared that doesn't matter right now" Connor says while coming up behind me and wrapping his arms around me. I look up and smile at him.

"See I told you you'd like it" He says.

"You're not making me pay though right?" I say.

"No you idiot" He says.

"Ok Connor let's go" Jared says while holding up Connor's credit card.

"You fucking bitch" Connor says and goes to grab his card.

Connor ended up paying. We're now in a clothing store to pick out new clothes for me that look good with my new hair. I'm not a big shopper but Alex is so he's picking out most of the stuff and Connor approves of it. Jared is also with us making his usual comments. Alex picks out a white button up and some jeans. I go into the dressing room and the others wait outside. I try on the the button up and the jeans and they fit. I button the shirt almost all the way up but I leave one button unbuttoned. I look at the mirror.

I look like a completely different person now, not gonna complain though.

I walk out of the dressing room and Connor just smiles.

"Looks good" Connor says.

"He actually looks cool now" Jared says.

"I did well didn't I?" Alex says.

"Hold up" Connor says.

Connor walks up to me and laughs.

"Ev you don't need to have your shirt buttoned up that high" Connor says.

"He just wants to see more of your chest" Jared says.

"Shut up no I don't" Connor says.

He does.

"Whatever, we all know it's the truth" Jared says.

"I just don't want him to look dumb, that's all" Connor says while he unbuttons two more buttons. I can't help but blush.

"See, Evan's blushing you it must be because of your gayness for him" Jared says.

"Shut up" Connor says.

Connor steps back and looks at me, he smiles.

"Much better" Connor says.

"It actually does look better that way" Alex says.

"Yeah but you still wanna see more of his chest" Jared says.

"Oh yeah Connor" Jared says.

"What?" He says.

"You're paying" Jared says.
