Revolution

What is life like if you don't do something worthwhile?

We should become more grateful

Before we revolutionise into a race

Where one takes life for granted.

We have a home, a family, friends,

People who care about us,

People who love us

While some have no one.

How can we feel so happy when

Some live in never ending darkness.

When life's just seems too much for

Them to bear.

We live our lives so freely,

Unaware of the hardships

Surrounding us of those

Striving to live just one day more.

We continue to complain about

homework and exams

But really some people wish

They had a life like ours.

People who're homeless,

Children hungry and dying,

Desperate for an education,

A life.

We sit in front of a computer,

Screen gazing intently all day

 watching our lives tick by

 in a revolution of technology.

In different circumstances

Across the world

People are waiting,

Waiting for a revolution.

A relolution to make

The poor rich.

A revolution of humankind

To help those in need.
