I let out a scream of agony as the knife carved my stomach. My cries echoed throughout the small, dark room.

"You're so weak!" James shouted, his hand connected my cheek.

The blow caused my head to turn along with it. I look back up at him, giving him a glare. I laughed. The way I laughed was maniacal. It was almost as if I could feel my sanity slipping through my fingers.

"Then why won't you kill me already, you dick," I snapped, my voice hoarse.

"I'm waiting for you to give in," he got down to my eye line, "I'm waiting for you to give up."

"Never," I whispered.

I felt another hit to my face, my eyes seeing stars. I heard a click. I looked up to see a gun aimed at me. The panic that surged through my body felt like pain. My whole body felt as if it was on fire.

"Well, then. It will be quite unfortunate for your precious so-called 'daddy,' when he finds you bled out," he sighed.

I felt an intense surge of heat in my left shoulder. I looked down and saw blood. My vision went fuzzy. I could hear my heart beat in my ears. I felt the chair falling to it's side, my right. My breathing was becoming shallow. My eyes were trying to close, but I was fighting against it.

"Such a shame... you would have been-"

Suddenly, I heard a faint sound of a door being ripped open. There was two loud shots, then a large thump. I looked over and saw James lying on the ground, a bullet wound in his chest. It was the only moment I saw his was human, the moment he was dead. I could feel someone untying me from the chair, then I felt someone pushing down on my shoulder, applying pressure. I groaned.

"That fucking hurts," I cried, tears streaming down my face.

I looked up to see Spencer looking down at me, his eyes watering. I felt the tears hitting my cheeks.

"D-don't cry, sweetheart," I stammered, reaching up with my good arm and putting my hand on the side of his face.

"Oh, Jess," he whispered as he wiped tears from my cheeks.

"I'm glad I-I met you, Spence," I said quietly.

"Don't... don't say that," he replied, "the ambulance is on their way."

"I don't think I can't h-hold on anymore, S-Spencer," I whispered.

"No, Jessica. You're going to be fine. We're going to be fine. I love you so much. There's still so much we haven't done together. So many shows we promised to watch together, so many places we promised to go together. You can't leave me. I can't be broken again," he explained, crying harder.

I squeezed his hand. I began to cry without any control.

"Remember that I love you, okay? Just... don't let me go," I whispered.

I felt Spencer lean down and kiss me softly. The tears were flowing heavily now for the both of us.

"Tell Penelope and Derek I love them okay? Tell Fang I love him. Tell Ariel I loved her. Even tell the team I loved them. But most of all, always tell yourself I love you. I love you, Spencer Reid."

I began to feel myself slip away, and the last thing I saw was Spencer and I heard him call my name.
