Don't leave

My jaw dropped.

"What?!" I asked, blinking my eyes.

"I took a pregnancy test and it said pregnant!" she smiled, holding Derek's hand.

My eyes flicked from Spencer -who also looked as shocked- to Garcia to Derek.

"That's great!" I smiled, dying a bit inside.

"Wait, what about work?!" I snapped.

"That's why you got the job, Jessie. You're replacing her," Derek smiled.

"No no no no. I can't take you're job, Mom! That's not right," I screamed.

"Jessica, calm down. Take a seat," Garcia demanded, and I look at her with shock plastered on my face.

She hadn't called me 'Jessica' since she met me.

She looked at me right in the eye.

"Jessica Kathrine Morgan," I blushed when she said my middle name. "You will take my job, or else."

She laughed, poking my nose. I sighed and nodded, knowing I had no chance debating with her.

"After dinner, we're going to a little get together with the rest of the team. You don't have to come," Derek said and I nodded.

We finished dinner in silence, and I cleared the table.

"I'll help, Jessica," Spencer smiled, following me into the kitchen.

"We'll see you later!" Garcia screamed, shutting the door behind her. It was just Spencer and I.

Alone.

I placed the dishes in the sink with a crash.

"What's wrong?" he asked me, placing his hand on my shoulder.

He brushed his lips on my jawline, making me shiver.

"I-I can't take my m-Mom's job, Spence," I whispered, wanting him close to me.

It was almost as if... I needed him to breath, to live.

I grabbed the sponge and began scrubbing.

Spencer dried the dishes and we put them back together.

I looked into his brown eyes and he smiled, making my heart melt.

My knees buckled and he caught me.

"Are you okay, Jess?" he asked, wrapping his arms around me.

I shook my head. He scooped me up bridal style and brought me up to my room. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ 

He placed me gently on my bed and I clung onto him.

"Don't leave." I begged and he nodded.

He laid beside me, intertwining our fingers.

"How could I leave you, Jessica? You aren't like any other woman I've met before," he hummed, kissing my hand.

I blushed.

"I've never felt the way I feel about you with anyone else," he added on, kissing my cheek.

Before I could reply, I attacked his lips with mine. I grasped his shirt, fiddling with one of his buttons as he stroked my back. I pulled away and he kissed my neck.

"Let's keep us a secret," I whispered and he nodded.

"Of course," he smiled, kissing me on the cheek.

I nuzzled into his chest, then drifted off to sleep.  

"Sweet Dreams," was the last thing I heard before everything went black.
