Spencer looked at me with shock in his brown eyes.

"Are we ready to take that step in our relationship?" he asked, turning down a road.

"I believe so. Like you said on the phone. We've been together for month, Spencer. Don't you think our relationship should become more public?" I replied.

I held his hand.

"I mean... I'm afraid I don't feel ready to come forward about our relationship. We are in what psychologist call the 'honeymoon phase'. This means that-"

"I know what it means," I snapped, "and I believe that we are no longer in the honeymoon phase."

"I'm afraid I don't feel ready," Spencer sighed.

"It's called being adventurous! I know you're extremely logical; and I love that about you! But you need to learn to let loose, Spence," I exclaimed.

"I don't know. I just don't know," he sighed as we got to the apartment complex.

"You want to know what I know?"

"What?"

He parked the car and looked at me. His brown eyes looked at me with confusion.

"I know that I'm going to my apartment and you can eat Chinese Food by yourself because until you make your decision, I'm not your girlfriend," I replied, getting out of the car.

"Jessica, don't do that!" Spencer exclaimed as he got out of the car himself.

"No, Spence! I'm not going to sit here while you ponder your thoughts," I snapped, walking away.

He caught my wrist and pulled me to him. His lips were pressed to mine. I pulled away after a few moments.

"Is that a yes?" I giggled.

"I guess so," he said quietly.

I smiled widely and kissed him again.

"There's a little get together tonight for the team at the office. It's optional for us to go but that would be a good place to tell everyone, don't you think?" he asked.

I nodded.

"Until then we have about an hour to kill..." I trailed off, playing with his tie.

"Are you going to have some fun?"

I smiled at him as we began to walk to his apartment. He opened the door. I pulled Spencer to the bedroom and laid him down on the bed. I crawled up and sat lightly on his hips.

"I'm going to teach you how to loosen up."
