EXT. SAYORI'S HOUSE - DAY
MIKIO NARRATES THE ACTIONS MADE AN SEEN
*I go over to Sayori to check on her and break the news to her. The news that I know that she has severe depression. It's gonna be rough... but I think I have it in the bag. I walk into her room since she always leaves the door unlock and her parents are just... nonexistent. So it's free for me to walk in.*
INT. SAYORI'S HOUSE - THE HALLWAY - DAY
*I know Sayori's has to still be alive, otherwise I wouldn't be able to find out about her depression. So I wasn't afraid to open the door and check on her.*
Mikio:
Hey Sayori.
*I open the door to see Sayori hugging her cow in the corner of the room. She then notices me.*
Sayori:
Hi, Makoto!
INT. SAYORI'S HOUSE - SAYORI'S ROOM - DAY
*I walk into Sayori's room.*
Mikio:
Sayori, we need to talk.
Sayori:
About what?
Mikio:
I know I haven't came over in a long time... I see nothing much has changed... and I know Monika might've mentioned that i was helping Yuri today.
Sayori:
She had.
Mikio:
And I'm assuming you're helping Monika online?
*Sayori stares in a random direction.*
Mikio:
Sayori... I'm not gonna sugar coat it. I know you have depression.
*Sayori looks at me with shock.*
Mikio:
It's... it shows. I know what's wrong with you and I want to say that all the stuff your thinking about, is FAR from the truth. What you do isn't at all selfish. In fact. You're the exact opposite. You are probably one of the most selfless people I have the pleasure to call my friend. I know you don't know it because it didn't happen, but I know you did some very selfless things, Sayori. And don't you dare deny it.
Sayori:
...But... Makoto-
*Sayori begins to cry.*
Mikio:
Butts are for farting, Sayori. And you are worth more than you think.
Sayori:
(Cries)
Makoto... I just wanna die.
Mikio:
Sayori... it's obvious.
*I hug Sayori. I felt her tears fall on my shoulder.*
Mikio:
I care for you too much to let this go unnoticed. If it is now my responsibility to keep you safe, then so be it. From now on. I'll make sure you are safe, even if I have to sacrifice my time to keep you alive. Okay?
Sayori:
O-...okay.
*I break the hug with Sayori.*
Mikio:
Now... where's that smile I always see?
*Sayori gives out a weak smile.*
