"Is this your signature?" I was too distracted by my thoughts that I almost forgot Garrett was still here, once I realized he was speaking I turned my head towards his face, then to his hand which was pointing the painting I indeed do myself.

"Yeah, How did you know it was mine?" I walked closer. How is he so observant? Remind me to put away everything done by me next time he comes over.

"It has your initials. It was an easy guess. Did you paint this?" He asked in a amused tone. I nodded slowly, and by his face I can already tell he does not like it. God this is so embarrassing.

"I like it." Was all he said before turning to other paintings. What in the world was that? Is he seriously going to be cold again? If he keeps this going forever I'll be the one to cut him off.

"So, you mentioned something about a scholarship, tell me about it." I changed the topic before he kept looking at other paintings I had made.

"Oh yeah, I got accepted into my dream college, my plan is to study medicine there." His whole face lit up as he said that, making me smile. "Of course I will accept it, who wouldn't love a Scholarship from oxford?!" Wait what? He's leaving?

"Wait.. you're going to Oxford university? As in 8 hours away from here?" My smile faded slowly. Is he really going to leave me?

"Yes! Isn't that amazing?" He spoke, the happiness pouring out of him. I have never seen him this excited before, he must really want this...

"Yeah it is, I'm so happy for you." I put on the best fake smile I could, although I really don't want him to go. "When are you leaving?"

"Maybe in a month or two." He shrugged walking towards the living room, then jumping onto the couch. I followed by, then took a sit beside him.

"You haven't told me what you want to do?" He raised an eyebrow, his gaze turning towards me.

"Well, I'd love to get a art or design degree." I spoke, a bit nervous. I never tell this to anyone, I haven't even shown my designs. And I'd like to keep it that way.

"Design? As in cloth design?" His body was now completely facing my way, I sighed. Why is he interested about this anyway?

"Yes.. I like designing my own cloth." I looked down as my hands played around with my own fingers. I expected him to keep asking, but instead, silence filled the room. None of us spoke or even shared a look.

"So are you gonna show me or you're just gonna play your endless finger game?" I looked up at him to see a bored expression on his face. Of course he would ask me to show him my designs.

I woke up from my trance, realizing he was waiting for me to show himmy stuff. Ugh do I really have to? Why this exact moment.

"S-sorry... Yeah if you want to see let's go..." I can walk as slow as possible and maybe something will happen that won't let us go into my room.

I got up from the couch and started walking towards the stairs, not even checking if Garrett was following behind. After a bit, I started hearing footsteps. I sighed, knowing it was Garrett following behind, then We finally made it to my room, I hope it's not a mess. Did I clean up? I probably didn't. Well whatever, I'll just act like everything is normal.

I slowly opened the door, revealing the opaque pink walls, covered with my paintings everywhere. The room wasn't big, nor small. Enough for an artist to use it as a work station.

I walked towards my bed, Garrett seemed so interested in everything, so I took the time to gather up some of the mess around, although it was too much.

"So you did all of this?" He asked while looking all over the room. I nodded shyly. I tried looking at him, to see some sort of emotion, maybe happiness, or disgust, however he showed nothing.

He kept staring at one painting, I looked over to see which was it. It was one I did a couple weeks ago, abstract painting with bright colors.

"I don't understand this." I turned to the owner of the voice, finally his face show an expression, not so pleased. "Do you consider this art? It's just a mess." At this point I started to get pissed. I was trying to find a great comeback but no words came out.

I finally opened my mouth to speak, but my words were caught up once again by Garrett flashing me a smile.

What in the world is he doing?

I finally closed my mouth, processing what the heck was happening, but nothing came to my mind. He insults my art, then smiles like he just have a compliment?! That son of a-

"However, this is what you like, and what makes you happy. So I like it as well." My thoughts were caught off by these words. Then without anything left, he turned walking back towards the living room, living me behind, dumbfounded. So, first He says that my art is ugly, then says he likes it? Why can't this kid make a bit more sense?

With a sigh, I walked back down, seeing him standing close to the door, ready to leave. So soon?

"Why are you leaving so soon?" I questioned, he looked back at me. The smile he had before was gone, and once again his expression was cold.

"I have to go." Was all he said, turning towards the door once again, showing his back towards me.

"I'll go with you." I replied quickly. To this, Garrett only sighed and walked out the door.

Was that a yes? A leave me alone?

I'll take it as a yes.

I grabbed my purse, shoving anything in there, then walked out. I had to run a bit to reach Garrett.

I hope he won't tell me to leave.
