Her arms were crossed over her chest as she looked at the building in front of her, a pair of black earbuds in her ears as music blasted through them, drowning out the noise of the busy streets packed with honking cars and people walking on the side walk, it was one of those days in New York when traffic was an absolute nightmare. It was obvious that Avalon hadn't been in a big city before, especially New York, where she had stayed before was a small and simple town where everyone knows everyone and damn near everything about you. But it's a good thing that Rebecca and Daniel were the type of people to keep to themselves and rarely let anyone in their home, but when they did, it was always their military buddies.

Avalon made sure to stay out of sight from any possible onlookers, but she kept the building in front of her in perfect view, but a smirk formed on her lips when she saw a woman exit the building. The teenager watched as the woman walked down the street at her own pace, waiting for a few minutes until she was out of sight. Grabbing her industrial chain, she put her small rucksack on her back and made sure she didn't forget anything, spinning one end of her chain and sending it to a rail of the building across from her, which seemed impossible. But like her primary weapon, the chain is fully accessed with her own finger prints, every single link was made entirely out of vibranium, but it also grew to impressive lengths whenever she wanted it to.

Without a second thought, Avalon jumped off the edge of the building, letting her body swing across the street as her chain shrunk in size, actually surprised that no one had seen her, but it also made her roll her eyes a little at how oblivious normal people could be. But that's just it, isn't it? They have regular jobs in a regular every day life, while Avalon was born and bred in HYDRA, her version of normal is a simple assassination, something she knows by heart, of course not by choice. Avalon landed on the rooftop of the building she had been watching, unhooking her chain and wrapping it around her waist, setting her rucksack down on the floor before expertly climbing over the ledge, to the window she needed.

She knew there was no one inside, the woman had just left and Avalon knew she wouldn't be back until a little later, which would leave her to wait for the person she wanted to see. Using her sheathed katana, Avalon lowered the window to the apartment she had been watching, sliding her body through the opening and landing on the floor, no sound coming from her. As she looked around the room, she closed the window, holding her primary tight in one hand as she slowly made her way throughout the apartment, looking through their mail, but putting it back exactly the way it was, knowing she would have to wait until she got what she came for, going back into the room and sitting down on the bed, leaning her head against the wall. Waiting.

Peter Parker walked into his home, shutting the door behind him with his earbuds in his ears, his head bobbing slightly to the music that was playing, not seeing his Aunt May in the living room like she normally was whenever he got home. He walked over to the kitchen, opening the refrigerator and grabbing a bottle of water, closing it and going over to his bedroom so he can get started on his homework, but he paused at his bedroom door. Avalon was sitting on Peter's bed, her left leg bent to her chest, while her right foot was firmly placed on the floor, using a small pocket knife to remove the dirt from under her fingernails, wiping the dirt from said knife on her jeans. Her sheathed katana was leaning against the wall next to her, which left her industrial chain around her waist, looking at her nails for a moment, then rubbing them on the shoulder of her shirt, holding her hand out in front of her, making sure they were even as she put the pocket knife away.

Avalon looked over at the door, seeing Peter there, and she had to admit, he was cute, watching as he pulled the earbuds from his ears, letting them dangle in his hand as he stared at her. Peter, however, was at a loss for words at the sight of a girl sitting on his bed, and he thought she was completely beautiful, even if her outfit was more gothic and not girly like he normally sees on other girls at his school. Hell, it was more unique than anything he had seen.
