Avalon sat indian style on one of the tables in the lab, legs crossed, elbows on her knees and head in her hands as Stark looked at her back, who had been looking at it for a few minutes along with Banner, but they couldn't quite figured it out
". . . Are you sure?" Stark asked
"For the hundredth time, yes!" Avalon snapped, dropping her hands and turning her head slightly "it's never been there before!"
"No need to bite my head off" he muttered
"You keep asking me that question" she replied calmly
"What's wrong?" Steve asked as he walked into the lab "FRIDAY said it was urgent"
"Yeah" Stark replied "that" pointing to Avalon's back
The teenager let out a small sigh through her nose, evenly parting her hair over her shoulders, feeling more eyes on her back, rolling her shoulders slightly, resting her elbows on her knees once more, but this time, crossing her arms over her chest, letting her left hand grasp her right shoulder, and her right hand grasping her left shoulder, lowering her head. She knew that the wings on her back weren't there before, especially when she changed into her suit back in Wakanda, since there was a mirror behind and in front of her. So she would have seen it if it was there.
"Get Thor and Loki down here" Steve said "maybe they can figure this out"
"And I now regret telling Stark about this" Avalon commented, her sarcasm kicking in "I love feeling like a lab rat"
"Hey, you're one of us now" Stark replied "in the meantime, while we're waiting for those two, here's the reason I asked you to come down here"
Stark walked over to another table as Avalon sat straight, another small sigh emitting from her as he walked back over to her, holding a ring in his hand, one that had a small blue sapphire stone in the center, and what looked like Celtic knots surrounding it,

It was simple, but it was still pretty.
"It's not for your memory projection" Stark said "try it on"
Avalon's eyes briefly darkened, going back to their original color as she looked at the ring, gently taking it from his hand and slipping off her right glove, the ring was a perfect fit around her thumb, watching as the sapphire lit up, only to slowly dim.
"I synced it with your primary" Stark informed "press on the gem"
A small smile formed on her lips as she pressed on the blue sapphire, watching as the sapphire flashed blue twice, holding out her left hand as her primary shot to it, her fingers instantly wrapping around the hilt,
"Nicely done" Avalon commented "I can start practicing with this tomorrow"
"Before or after you go school shopping?" Stark asked, a small smirk forming on his lips
