"It's getting worse" Shuri said, gently wiping the blood off of Avalon's upper lip "the new serum is nearly finished"

"How do you know it'll work?" Avalon asked, looking at the princess

"I have separated the serum from your blood" she explained "to put it bluntly, basically took the serum apart, located and fixed the mistake and slowly put it back together. I can promise you, that you will not die on my watch, Avalon"

Avalon gave her a small nod, watching as Shuri backed up as the door to the lab opened, walking over to a bin to incinerate the napkins used to wipe off the blood from Avalon's nose. Bucky picked up speed slightly, making his way over to his daughter and gently cupping her face in his hands, looking her over

"Ты в порядке? Вы ударились? Они тебя ударили?" Bucky asked, concerned for his daughter
Are you okay? Are you hurt? Did they hit you?

Do you know how hard it is for someone to actually hit me, papa?

Bucky looked into his daughters ice blue eyes, a small sigh emitting from his nose as he let his hands fall to his sides, taking a step to the side, which revealed T'Challa and Ramonda, the woman Avalon had yet to meet.

"Hello, Wolf Cub" Ramonda said with a gentle smile

Avalon couldn't help but slowly raise an eyebrow, never have been called Wolf Cub before,

"Uh . . Hi?" Avalon replied

Amusement seemed to shine in Ramonda's eyes as she looked at the young teenager, watching as she slowly slid off of the table and onto her feet, leaning back against it, crossing her arms over her chest,

"Would you mind taking a walk with me, child?" Ramonda asked

For the first time, Avalon didn't know how to respond. Looking at Bucky, he gave her a small nod and a fatherly smile, causing Avalon to look back at the woman, lightly pushing off the table. Her chain had still been wrapped around her waist, grabbing her primary as she began to walk over to T'Challa and Shuri's mother, following her out of the lab and down the hall. She knew that there was no need to bring either of her weapons, but she couldn't really help it because it was second nature, even when she was staying with Daniel and Rebecca, she still had her chain wrapped around her waist, and other people just thought she was going through a phase. But those thoughts stopped after two years, everyone surprisingly accepting her as Daniel and Rebecca's niece.

"You have saved my daughter from a man's foolish and intoxicated acts" Ramonda said, gaining Avalon's attention "a girl your size, taking down six grown men, protecting yourself and someone else, it is quite impressive I will admit"

"With all do respect, it's kinda what happens when you're born in a psycho organization hell bent on world domination" Avalon replied bluntly

Ramonda chuckled slightly, letting out a small sigh through her nose as she led Avalon over to a rather large balcony, which gave them a good view of the city and the mountains beyond it, a small smile forming on Avalon's lips,

"I wanted to personally thank you" Ramonda continued "most people would rather stand by than help those in need, and those men have been causing quite a bit of trouble. You have not been here long, but I can see how you and Shuri have bonded so quickly, and because of that, I have a question for you"

Avalon turned her attention to Ramonda, who was already looking at the teenager, one of her personal guards coming up next to her with a wood box in her hands, unclasping the lock and lifting the lid to reveal two arm cuffs laying inside.
