"How about this one?" Natasha asked, holding up a bright pink floral shirt
". . . Seriously?" Avalon asked with a blank look
Natasha couldn't help the smirk that formed on her lips, knowing Avalon despised anything pink, but she liked to mess with her. Since Avalon was to start school soon, Wanda and Natasha decided to take one of Stark's many loaded debit cards and take Avalon shopping for her outfits and supplies, the two adults wanting to fill up the teenager's walk-in closet as much as possible. The teenager rolled her eyes, turning on her heel and walking over to Wanda, who actually didn't tease her with any of those horrid colors. Wanda convinced Avalon to get a few dresses and skirts, knowing she would look pretty in them, just as long as they were black because dark colors seemed to contrast perfectly with her lighter skin. When Avalon made it to Wanda, the adult turned around and held up a top against the teen, looking at it for a moment before shaking her head slightly, turning back around and putting the article of clothing back on the rack.
Avalon looked through the rack, a small sigh emitting from her nose as she looked through the shirts, Wanda glancing over in her direction when she heard her.
"There is not much here" Wanda said, causing Avalon to look at her "how about we try something more your style?"
The teen nodded slightly, giving Wanda a grateful smile as she looked their arms together, walking out of Forever 21 and leaving Natasha behind. There were some people who recognized the adult, the few who did took a step away from her, as if she would hurt them. Avalon looked at one person in the eye, her ice blue eyes intimidating to anyone, which caused him to look down at the floor, allowing Avalon's eyes to travel to the other people who were looking at them. Avalon and Wanda could easily relate, having been experimented on by Hydra and used as a weapon, but both of them broke free from their control and started a new life. The to women walked inside a shop called Gothic Renaissance,
"Oh, I might like it here" Avalon commented as she looked around
"Then let's take a look around" Wanda replied, looking at the teen with a smile
Avalon took her arm from Wanda's, slowly walking around the shop as she looked at what was display, a small smile forming on her lips, the shop had everything they both liked. Her gloved fingered softly brushed up against silver chain accessories as she walked down one of the sections, closing her eyes as she heard them gently clashing with the other pieces of metal, creating a soft jingle.
"Is there anything I can help you with, little lady?" One of the sales associates asked, causing Avalon to open her eyes and look at him
He was taller than her, but only by a few inches with her boots, dark makeup under his eyes with black nail polish, wearing leather pants and vest, nothing else underneath. Spiked bracelets lay around his wrists with skull rings on his fingers, but he didn't seem the threatening type,
"I'm just looking around right now" Avalon said, a small smile on her lips
"Well, if you need help with anything, just let me know" he replied with a nod
Avalon rolled her eyes as he walked away, allowing her to walk around the shop once more, occasionally picking up an item and taking a look at it to see if it spiked her interest. She picked out a few dresses, Wanda finding her with a small cart, smiling when she saw that the teen had picked them out, Avalon knowing she wanted her to try them on. A small smile formed on her lips when her eyes landed on a corset, silver latches on the front with five chains connecting to both sides and running across the back,
