"Hey" Peter said softly

Avalon turned her head to him, giving him a small smile, looking back down as she adjusted her top, making sure she was comfortable enough to move around. Peter walked up to her, leaning back against the wall next to her,

". . What's your plan after this?" Peter asked "like, what are you gonna do when the job is done?"

"I honestly don't know" Avalon replied softly "this is the only thing that's kept me going for the last five years. After this . ." shaking her head slightly and giving him a small shrug "I have no clue and . . . this is the first time where I don't know what else to do. I have some ideas, but I don't know if I want to follow through with them"

A smile slowly made it's way on her lips as she let out a small chuckle, shaking her head slightly as she looked down at the floor, causing Peter to look at her in slight confusion,

"It's hard to believe, right?" Avalon asked, her gaze still to the floor "I don't know what my next step is. I always have everything planned out - they don't always go accordingly - but it gets the job done"

"Then, why not just make it up as you go along?" Peter asked, shrugging slightly

She scrunched up her nose slightly, shaking her head a bit, but a smile was still on her lips, Peter letting out a small chuckle when he saw her reaction, finding it cute, and knowing full well that she was the type of person to plan everything out before following through with whatever she set out to do. Looking at him, Avalon saw that Peter had already been looking at her, her eyes briefly glancing down at his lips, his eyes doing the same with hers, time seeming to go by slower as they both slowly started to lean in. Their noses softly brushed against one another's, Avalon could feel how close he was and for once, she didn't really care, wanting this to happen just as much as he did. She trusted Peter, and sometimes it could take a while to actually gain her trust.

But for some reason, Avalon managed to trust him, not knowing if it's because she saved his life, or if he didn't run away the first chance he got. He was just a kid from Queens, and Avalon was born in a life she could never get out of, she knew that for a fact. Avalon's eyes snapped open, the color of her eyes briefly darkening before going back to their original ice blue,

"Stark" Avalon whispered

Pulling back abruptly, Avalon walked to the other side of the small room and grabbed her black fingerless gloves, just as the door opened,

"Bird man wants you up front" Stark said

"I'll be there" Avalon replied

Peter's cheeks were flushed with a slight tint of pink, Avalon noticing this when she turned around after the door closed, a small smirk forming on her lips

"Maybe we can finish this later?" Avalon asked

Giving him a small wink, Avalon walked out and made her way over to Clint, who was still seated in the pilots seat, looking out the window as she began to put on her gloves,

"Land here" Avalon said

"Seriously?" He asked, glancing at the teen "there's nothing out here"

"Trust me, there is" she replied "land here"

Clint gave her a nod, doing as said, which caused the other jet to do the same, both of the jets powering down as everyone walked down the ramps. Avalon made her way toward Daniel and Rebecca, giving the man a hug, causing him to instantly return it, the two pulling back after a minute, allowing Avalon to greet the other members of the team. She greeted the six men who helped train her, a smile on their faces, one of them playfully ruffling her hair, causing Avalon to swat his hand away, earning a chuckle. The next man gave her a brotherly hug, asking if she was okay, causing the teenager to give him a nod in return, the third man pulling her in a side hug and pressing a kiss to her hair. The fourth man gave her a light punch to her shoulder, earning one in return.
