Avalon let out a small sigh through her nose as she adjusted her fingerless gloves, grabbing her primary and walking out of her room,
"Are you sure about this?" Peter asked
"This has to be done" Avalon replied softly "if not? Then me and my father will be on the run for the rest of our lives . . . and I'm kinda tired of running"
Peter nodded slightly, giving her a small smile, both of them walking in the elevator, Avalon pressing the button to the top floor, which was where the Avengers, her father, Ross and a few other agents were waiting.
"When we get there . . ." Avalon trailed off "just go to the others" looking at Peter
Nodding once more, Avalon gave him a small smile, leaning in and pressing a lingering kiss to his lips, one that he instantly replied to. But they both pulled back when the elevator doors opened,
"Congratulations, Stark" Everett Ross said "you have managed to capture one of the most wanted men in the world"
Avalon saw that her father was surrounded by agents, not fighting back as they cuffed his hands behind him, her free hand slowly clenching into a fist as she walked off of the elevator with Peter, who instantly went to the others as was requested.
"Agent Everett Kenneth Ross" Avalon said, gaining his attention "I'd let him go if I were you"
"Phantom" he said, drawing his gun to her
Unexpectedly, one end of her chain wrapped around the barrel of the gun, Avalon pulling it from his hands and catching it, quickly disassembling the weapon as well as removing the bullets from the magazine, everything falling to the floor, Ross looking at her in shock as the other agents drew their own guns,
"Tell them to hold their fire" Avalon ordered
"And why would I do that?" Ross asked
"Because I'd like to make deal" she replied simply
This definitely gained his attention, holding a hand out to his men, causing them to hesitantly lower their weapons, watching her warily as she leaned her primary against the table next to her, letting her chain wrap around her waist, crossing her arms over her chest.
"I'm listening" Ross said
"Well, for one, you can let my father go" Avalon said "its obvious he didn't fight back"
"Kid, you're in no position to make demands" he replied
"So you didn't like my little presents over the years?" She shot back, causing him to grow silent "when HYDRA numbers slowly dwindled down to nothing? When HYDRA agents were suddenly dropped at your doorstep for the past five years? C'mon, you're CIA operative and the former Deputy Task Force Commander of the Joint Counter Terrorist Centre, working alongside Thaddeus Ross, you had been tasked to control and regulate the actions of the Avengers following the creation of the Sokovia Accords, which is also on our topic of discussion, but we'll get to that"
". . . You left those agents?" He asked, more of a statement than anything
"Most of them" Avalon replied honestly
" . . Okay" he replied unsurely "okay, sure. . . Release him"
Avalon watched as the agents released Bucky, who rubbed his flesh wrist slightly with his metal hand, glaring at them as he walked over and stood behind us daughter. She raised her right wrist, pressing her thumb and index finger on the eyes of the dragon, causing the gems to flash green, allowing her to remove the flashdrive and hold it up so Ross can see,
