Happy New Year, my babies! I hope everyone had a good New Years Eve and I hope everyone has a wonderful year to come. I'm determined to make 2019 my year and I hope you can come with me on my journey.
Let's go through the list, shall we?
Better grades, better eating habits, organization, more updates and not spending money on meaningless things. I also have a goal of finishing at least three books this year.
You guys don't know this but I have so many books that have never been published because I haven't finished them. I think you guys will love them but I just have to get them finished. I also need to get Coleson finished and His Little Killer finished. That leaves one more book in the Chaos series which is Hailey.
I'm so excited for this year and I hope that we can grow as a community. So what I'm asking you is to help me stay on track. And that doesn't have to be commenting or messaging me, though that is a plus, but just by reading and voting. That helps so much to see that I actually have fans out there that are enjoying something that I also enjoy.
So I hope we can all have a magnificent year together.
Xoxo

"Do you think that for maybe just one second you could be kind and not a complete spineless bitch? This is our big day and whether you like it or not we're going to stay together, for better or for worse, and if that means I have to deal with you, so be it. Maybe you could be just the least bit happy for him, he is your son after all." The color drained from her face as I turned around and went to find my husband in the crowd of guests but a cold hand wrapped around my wrist.
"You aren't doing him any good," she snapped. "He needs a strong woman next to him, not some weak, poor girl."
"If this is the company you are worried about, he's running it just fine by himself. He doesn't need my help, he doesn't need hers-," I pointed to Heather, "and he most certainly doesn't need your help. If anything, you're holding him back. Now if you'll excuse me, my husband is waiting for me."
I found him next to Theo, sipping from a glass of champagne. I walked over to him and wrapped my arm around his waist. "I think she left,"
"What did she say?" Cole asked, disregarding his conversation with Theo.
"Nothing, I did most of the talking."
"Well, what did you say?" He asked, taking another sip from the glass.
"Nothing we weren't all thinking. Don't worry about it, she's gone now." With her out of the way the party continued and Cole and I enjoyed ourselves. Paige had just a tad bit too much to drink and needed assistance to the car towards the end of the night.
Sydney, Dallas, Cole and I had a pretty good discussion about kids. While Sydney was giving me the run down on how to handle tantrums to how to change a diaper, Dallas was giving Cole ideas of how to play with the kid which sounded like a giant mess to me.
The night seemed to run short but in reality we had been there for about 4 hours. People had started to say their goodbyes and were filtering out of the reception hall. While my father was talking with Cole, my mother pulled me aside.
She pulled me in for a hug, nearly squeezing the life out of me. "I hope you both have a long and happy marriage, you deserve it."
"Thank you," I say and press a kiss to her cheek.
"You be safe on that honeymoon, okay." She said and held me by the shoulders.
"Do you know where he's taking me?"
