Chapter 2

Shirou stands in the Reality Marble that his future self had created. Rows of swords lined the ground, the gears in the sky turn as if it's operating a mechanism "Long time no see, Shirou Emiya." Shirou looks back to see his future self standing before him, Archer is wearing his usual black vest but without his red jacket, instead he wears a white cloak that looks more like a scarf, his white hair flys with the wind "Archer... How-" "Why are you here Shirou?" He says cutting off his past self "I don't know... Me and Tohsaka were ambushed by mages... Wait... Tohsaka!" Shirou looks around hoping to spot Rin "She isn't here... I don't see why she would be. Shirou." Shirou turns to face Archer "You don't have to go down the same path as me. You showed me that. Regardless, that doesn't mean you have to reject the full extent of your magic. That's why you couldn't protect Rin. Deep down you want to be the hero but don't want to become me. Think on it. Now wake the hell up she's waiting for you." With those words Shirou shot up Luvia Edlefet jumps as Shirou rises "You're awake. Oh thank goodness I was so worried!" Luvia throws her arms around Shirou in relief "How'd I... Tohsaka!" Shirou looks around, he scans his apartment hoping to find Rin "I only found you Shirou... Did something happen?" Luvia leans in "I need to find Tohsaka." Shirou gets up out of bed and puts on his shoes "Hold on Sherou." Luvia puts her hand on Shirou's shoulder "You have to calm down." "I can't... Not when someone kidnapped Tohsaka." "Someone kidnapped Tohsaka? Do you know who did it?" "No I don't but I plan on finding out who." Shirou grabbed his jacket and slipped it on "Let me help you." She said "How so Lady Luvia?" "Welllll I know some tracking magic. But I'd need something of Tohsaka's for it to work." She says and Shirou quickly grabs one of Rin's shirts and holds it out "Please Luvia... I need to find her." Shirou says and gives a serious look "Oh alright." She agrees and grabs the shirt. She begins chanting and her magical circuits followed through her hands, the shirt began to glow as Luvia kept chanting. Luvia takes a sharp deep, breath and drops the shirt, nearly collapsing herself "Luvia!" Shirou attempts to catch her but she waves him off "I'm alright. Somethings blocking me finding her. The only image I could get was Transylvania." She tells Shirou who then nods and grabs a bag. He stuffs clothes into the bag and zips it up, throwing it over his shoulder "You can't go after her alone Sherou. Let the Mages Association help." "No... This something I haven't to do on my own. Not only for Tohsaka." He turns to face Luvia "But for me as well." He says and Luvia puts her hands on her hips. "Very well I cannot stop you but I can come with you." She says "But I just said-" "You're gonna need a way there right? Or were you planning on taking a train the entire way. The more the merrier Sherou." She said. Shirou lets off a sigh "I can't talk you out of this can I?" "No you can't now come on Miss Tohsaka is just waiting to be saved." She says and goes to leave the apartment. Luvia lives upstairs so they didn't have to tread far to grab her clothes, once they leave the apartment building they head to the airport where they take the Edlefet family jet to Transylvania. The flight would be no more than 3 hours, Shirou laid back in the chair staring out the window of the plane, Luvia sat across from sipping on her tea "Sherou." She says and Shirou looks up "Yeah? Whats up?" "The Holy Grail War. What was it like? I heard you were the master of a Saber." She asks and Shirou begins to think back to that fateful day, him being stabbed by Lancer, him unknowingly summoning Saber, finally confronting his future "It was a struggle espcially since I was thrusted into the war." "You and Miss Tohsaka became very close after that yes? What had happened that brought the two of you so close together?" She asks with more curiosity "I'm sorry I shouldn't be prying. You don't have to answer." "No it's fine." Shirou said. Shirou thought that since she's apart of this then she has to know "Believe it or not Rin totally hated the fact that I became a Master. She wanted Saber but instead got Archer, she nearly killed me a couple of times also. We came closer together because Saber had taken by Caster. When I went to save Saber, Archer had converted to the other side, giving into Caster. Turns out Archer..." The images of his future self flooded his mind "Was me in the future." "Oh my." Luvia put her hand to her mouth "Servants can be summoned from any era in time. Past, present, or future. It just so happened the catalyst to summon Archer was the necklace Tohsaka used to save me. So me and Archer fought, I won in the end. But it still haunts me to this day, that he is gonna be my future one day." Shirou explains looking down in sorrow "After the War Rin asked me to come with her to Clock Tower. I said yes of course, I didn't want to leave her side." "aw how romantic." Luvia exclaims and she leans forward and rests her hand on Shirou's leg "We'll find her Sherou. I promise." She ensures Emiya "Lady Luvia we are about to land." The pilot's voice comes over the intercom and Luvia stands up "We're here"
