Chapter 4

Shirou opens his eyes and is again in the Reality Marble of his futureself. This time with Archer staring him down with his arms crossed "Back so soon?" Archer asks "What the hell is going on Archer?" "How should I know? " Archer's voice booms "You're a Counter Guardian aren't you? You have to know something." Shirou says and Archer sighs "The Holy Grail isn't the only wish granting device in the world. The Greater Grail, an object very similar to the Holy Grail. During the Third Holy Grail War, a man named Darnic Preston Yggdamilenia took the Greater Grail and now him along with his family, The Black Faction and a party known as the Red Faction are at war over the Greater Grail. Some are calling this the Great Holy Grail War, each side has 7 Masters and 7 Servants just like a regular Grail War." Archer explains "So what does this have to do with Rin?" "My guess, is that they could be using her as a vessel for the Greater Grail. Though I don't know which faction took Rin. Shirou, you must stop this war however you can. The Greater Grail in the wrong hands is very dangerous. The outcome of ones wish could be catastrophic." Archer tells Shirou "Yeah I get that. But you're a Counter Guardian, why haven't you been summoned to deal with this?" Shirou asks and Archer  remains with his back turned "I am deployed whenever humanity is on the verge of collapsing itself. It is not within my power to stop this. Even if I wanted to, I can't which is why I'm asking you Shirou." Archer turned and gave Shirou a serious look, he didn't understand why Archer came to him. Did Archer finally come to terms with his ideals? "Fine, I'll do it. No just for you but for Tohsaka mainly." Shirou responds and Archer chuckles "Glad you agree. Now snap out of it. You've got a girl to save" As Archer ends his sentence Shirou's eyes shot up "Sherou." Luvia says in relief "Hey, sorry about that." Shirou apologies and scans the environment. The young boy from before stood with the Rider "Hey you're awake." Rider says as she cracks a smile "Yeah. How long was I asleep " Not that long. As it turns out. This homunculus somehow transformed into the Saber of Black and well Rider's Master tried to kill him once he had transformed back but Saber of Red killed her master and well... Now he is her master." Luvia points to the young boy "Hello, my name is Sieg." The boy introduces himself "I'm Shirou... Hey Luvia, I think I got a grip on what's going on." Shirou says and begins to explain what Archer had told him. As Shirou finished Luvia stared at him in confusion "So there's another Grail with the power to grant any wish that even the Holy Grail couldn't grant. And you learned all of this from your future self?" "Yeah... Recently I've been having these dreams. I've been waking up inside Archer's Reality Marble with Archer talking to me. Whether it be help or to remind me of the outcome of my dream." Shirou says and looks away "There's another Archer?" Rider asks "No, this is a different Archer." Luvia says "In any case we must regroup with the homunculi. I promised them that I'd lead them to freedom." As Sieg finished there was another crash, everyone turned their attention to a large monster chasing after a woman in armor with what looked like a lance "Ruler!" Sieg yells and the woman is surprised by his presence "The homunculus?" She says and veres her eyes to Shirou and Luvia. Shirou doesn't hesitate to launch forward "Trace on!" He says and his blades Kanshou and Bakuya materialize in his hands "Wait!" The woman called Ruler yells and Shirou slices open the monster. The monster split into two and it's remains fell to the ground, Shirou landed and rose "Hm that was underwhelming." "Sherou!" Luvia yells and Shirou turns around to see the monster begin to glow "He's going to activate his Noble Phantasm!" The woman named Ruler said and moved Shirou aside. The flag unwrapped from around her flag poll and began to glow "There isn't enough time Ruler!" Astoflo yelled and an idea hit Shirou and his mind entered a flashback.
He laid on his bed staring at the ceiling while Tohsaka sat at the table studying "Hey Tohsaka?" He said "Yeah?" "If Archer didn't have a Noble Phantasm. Then how was he able to use them?" Shirou sat up, Tohsaka placed down her pen "Well. Your able to trace the basic structure of any object and recreate it right? Maybe it works for some Noble Phantasms. He did mention that he could've recreated Saber's sword." With those words Shirou snapped back to reality "Hey miss stand back." He said and stepped in front of Ruler "What? Who are you?" Shirou disregarded her and extended his hand

The magic energy around him surged. The monster's glow intensified "Sherou what are you doing!" Luvia yelled "Whatever you're doing do it now!" Ruler yelled and the flag unwrapped and began to glow "Wait!" Shirou yelled and concentrated, using the memories he gained from Archer to visualize the defensive Noble Phantasm, the Rho Aias. The energy around Shirou intensified "Rider, Sieg get behind me!" Ruler said and began to chant.

O my banner, defend my brethren.... Luminosite Eternelle!

The glow on the flag glowed brighter, her flagpole began to glow as well. She placed it in front of her "This is Spartacus!" the monster yelled and a beam of light shot from its mouth "Sherou!" Luvia yelled urging Shirou to hurry up "Rho Aias!" A spectral flower bloomed from Shirou's hand and in front spanned out seven barriers. The beam destroyed the ground around them, it began to shatter four of the seven barriers of the Aias "Come on!" Shirou concentrated even harder. His sleeve began to evaporate and his arm took the repercussions of the blast. The beam died down and left one barrier left. The monster roared and exploded, the chunks began to turn to dust and they fell to the ground, Shirou lowered his arm and relaxed "You aren't a Servant nor a Master but... Who are you?" Ruler demanded as she approached. Shirou chuckled "I'll tell you that once I-" Before Shirou could finish he collasped from exhaustion "Sherou!" Luvia's voice echoed through Shirou's ears as his mind went blank.
