Everyone sat silent as Archer and Shirou exchanged lines "What is Unlimited Blade Works?" Sieg asked "A Reality Marble. A construct of one's own inner thoughts imposed on our reality. This is what Archer's Noble Phantasm is. Am I correct?" Ruler followed up and Archer nodded "Though I am a Counter Guardian I'm also an Heroic Spirit. It's natural I have one, but since I do not possess a divine weapon of holy or demonic origin, my Reality Marble became my Noble Phantasm." Archer said "But how will that help you and Shirou?" Ruler asked "Shirou has pulled it off before, during his fight with Gilgamesh. He was able to activate it only because Rin supplied him with the mana. Ruler, do you think you can use a Command Spell to-" "It only works on Servants, I'm sorry Archer." "What if Archer did the same thing Tohsaka did? And since she isn't here you boost him with a Command Spell?" Shirou asked, the room grew quiet again "That could work." Ruler put her hand to her chin thinking "It's the only shot we have to beat Angelica, after that the Ainsworths are done for." Shirou pressured and Ruler nodded "I agree. It is possible." "Good. Shirou, we will need Artor- I mean Saber's help as well." Archer said "How so?" "You said it yourself, a Servant that has mastered one Noble Phantasm is stronger than one that hasn't mastered any at all." Archer smirked and Shirou nodded "I'll go find her." Shirou stood up "She seemed to be headed to your room." Sieg told Shirou and Shirou took off to his room.

Shirou opened the door to his room, Saber sat on his bed, she wore her regular long white coat with her blue scarf and black skirt.  Her head shot up as Shirou walked in "Hey." Shirou said as he closed the door "Hello Shirou." Saber looked down, Shirou walked up to her, pulling up a chair from the corner of the room "It wasn't your fault." "I let Rin get captured. I was distracted." "And that wasn't your fault. Don't beat yourself up over it. We've came up with a plan to save Tohsaka. Sieg and Astolflo will fight Beatrice while you, me and Archer take on Angelica. Ruler will scour the mansion for Tohsaka. Me and Archer are gonna do that mana transference thing so that way I have enough mana to pull off the Reality Marble. We need you Saber." Shirou said and Saber nodded "I vowed to you that I'd protect you. What of Mordred?" Saber asked, oblivious to the knowledge that Mordred and her master died in their fight with Assassin of Red "Mordred's dead. She fought to the end against Sermiramis." "I see." Saber stood up "I will help." "That's good to hear." Shirou let out a sigh of relief "This'll be the toughest battle yet. You sure you're up for it?" Shirou asked and Saber nodded "As long as you are my master, Shirou." Saber responded, Shirou became flustered "I'm not that great. Anyway, let's go find Archer." Shirou said and the two exited the room to search for Archer.

Shirou and Saber wandered the mansion until they found Archer standing in the courtyard "Good. We can begin." Archer said "But shouldn't we do this in a secluded spot?" Shirou asked referring back to the time Rin had transferred mana to Shirou. Archer shook his head "Over the years I learned an easier way to perform this task. I won't have to transfer much since you have grown since I last saw you." Archer said and Shirou nodded "Then let's do this." "This won't hurt Shirou will it?" Saber asked and Archer smirked "I figured you'd ask. Being a Servant, it is highly unlikely someone who recieves a body part or even a Noble Phantasm will survive, take Sieg for example. He has Siegfried's heart and is slowly becoming a dragon kin." Archer explained and images rushed through his mind, it showed him, on the verge of death standing over Shirou's body, he watched himself take Kanshou and cut off his own arm and give it to Shirou, wrapping it in the Shroud of Martin. Archer shook off the images and continued "But, since it's only mana he'll be fine with no repercussions." He finished and Saber still looked uneasy "Shall we begin?"

Shirou stood with his back to Archer, he felt impatient, tapping his foot. Once he realized he was doing it he stopped, it reminded him of Rin. Archer rose hos hand and hovered it over Shirou's right shoulder blade "I won't see things like I did with Tohsaka will I?" Shirou asked and Archer chuckled "No, what I've seen is stuff you've already seen." Shirou steadied himself

Archer's hand began to glow and Shirou could feel the mana pour into him just like before

The glow from Archer's hand shined brighter with each word, Archer's arm began to tremble "Are you alright Archer?" Saber asked "I'm fine." Archer managed to say, it was like he was trapped underneath rubble

Shirou could feel the Magic Circuits trace onto his body just like before, Archer grabbed his arm as his arm trembled further "Archer I-" "I said I'm fine!" Archer yelled and continued the incantation

Shirou began to shake as his body adapted to the mass amount of mana entering his body. Like before he saw images, the first was the fire in Fuyuki, where he had met Kiritsugu. Then he saw Kiritsugu sitting in the moonlight, it was the night Shirou declared he'd become a hero of justice, and finally, he saw himself making a contract with Alaya, this was how he became a Heroic Spirit

As Archer ended the incantation, Shirou let out a screech of pain and fell to the ground "Shirou!" Saber reacted quickly, shortly after Archer fell to his knees, his breathing was unstable and heavy. Saber checked Shirou to see if he was alright "He's just unconscious." Archer said "Then-" "It's done." Archer said "I do not understand Archer. Shirou told me Rin had transferred her Magic Crest to him in order for him to pull off the Reality Marble. How is this any different." "The mana of a Servant and that of a Magic Crest are near the strength of power. Only the mana of a Servant is more valuable, this time. The mana will stay instead of fade away, for the simple fact that-" "You are Shirou's future self." "Right. Though it takes a toll on me, it'll eventually catch up to him." Archer says as he stares at Shirou "He'll be out cold for awhile. Take him to the guest room." Archer stands up nearly falling down once more "What about you Archer?" "What else can I do? I'm gonna rest and regain some mana. I'm gonna need it our fight." Archer says and vanishes leaving Saber to take Shirou back into the mansion.
