Chapter 15

Rin woke up in a regal bed, the drapes surrounding the bed were a dark blue, she rubbed her eyes and sit up. Rin examined herself to see that her clothes have been untouched and there was a shackle on her right ankle, the chain led to the edge of the bed where the other end of the shackle laid attached to the bed so she couldn't escape. Tohsaka shook her and smacked her face "I need to wake up and get the hell out." She said examined the room. It looked as if it was a medieval castle, the carpet was dark blue with a gold trimmed, the walls were a grey brick that mimicked the outside of a castle, the light from the sun was blocked with the dark blue curtains to match the them of her room, her gaze turned to the door which resembled that of a dungeon door. "First I have to get this off of me." Rin shook her the took aim with her two fingers pointing at the shackle "Gundr." She said, a black orb formed around her fingers and immediately died "What the hell?" Rin exclaimed as she attempted again, still nothing "That won't work." Rin's head shot up to see Julian standing in the door frame "Those shackles counter act your Magic Circuits making it so you can't use your magic. Not much without it are you Rin Tohsaka?" Julian said in a dark tone "You can't be Julian, the Ainsworths were banished for attempting to do as moronic as this. So who the hell are you?" Rin demanded to know "I am Julian Ainsworth. But I am not the one from your dimension per say. In my world, my family created the Grail War to control the children of God and save the world. Until that wretched thorn in my side Shirou Emiya sent away the Grail." Julian's voice became hostile "Why keep me here? Why didn't you kill me?" Rin asked and Julian smirked "So I could watch Emiya weep as I kill the person most precious to him right in front of his eyes." "We may be from different worlds but no matter what world it is, Shirou will do what's right! I heard about what happened and what your Emiya did and he had every right to do so! You took away his sister just so she could be used as object, you rotten bastard. Saving humanity? Get over yourself!  Humanity doesn't need a saviour, and even if it did an exiled family like the Ainsworths wouldn't be it!" As Rin finished her sentence Julian raced over to her and wrapped his hand around her throat "Shut up! No one cared about the world, it's our job to save it from total devastation and no one can stand in our way! I will sacrifice your damned world for my own, even if it means all of you die along with it." Julian growled, Tohsaka tried to breath but Julian's grip was too tight, Julian let go of her and Rin coughed as she began to regain control of her breathing "You'll be killing innocent lives. Doesn't that mean anything to you?" "Take heed to my words Rin Tohsaka. No one is all good, everyone is evil. There are no innocent individuals, innocence is an excuse for the weak. No one person is innocent, everyone has commited sins, even the children that worship God and commit their lives to him are never truly good. Good is just the persona of evil, human nature is true evil." Julian said as he turned to leave "So I do not care how I obtain it. But I will bring absolute salvation to my word." Julian turned his head and walked out of the room "Hurry up Shirou." Rin said and laid back down in the bed.

Shirou sat at the table in the dining room of the Yggdmillennia mansion, his foot tapping against the floor rapidily. Archer stood against the wall behind him with one leg propped up on the wall, his arms crossed and eyes closed. The two sat in silence as they waited for Ruler to return "We're wasting time." Shirou finally spoke up "We're being smart. Don't be naive. Ruler will be here shortly." As Archer finished Ruler entered the room with Sieg at her side, next to Sieg was his own Servant Astolflo "What has happened?" Ruler asked "The mission to the Ainsworth mansion was a compromised. Rin was captured by the Ainsworth and Saber was brought back with a Command Spell. They plan on using Rin to draw out Shirou and most likely as the new host for the Grail." Archer said, Shirou sat quiet trying to think of ways to save Rin "Where's Luvia?" Shirou asked "Lord El Melloi took her back to the Clocktower so we won't have to worry about her. If Julian plans on using Tohsaka as a vessel for the Grail then he must be stopped." Ruler said "But how can a regular mage be used as a vessel for the Holy Grail?" Sieg asked "Since Rin is apart of one of the family that created the Holy Grail War then she has significance. And since she's a Tohsaka mage then she has immense magic energy, she's the perfect candidate for being a vessel." Archer explained "Yes. This situation must be the reason I was summoned to watch over the Great Holy Grail War. This must not be allowed and is completely against the rules." Ruler's voice was determined "So what do we do?" Shirou stood up "We must first take down the Servants of the Ainsworths. Me, Sieg, ane Astolflo will deal with the Berserker. Which leaves Angelica-" "To me and Archer." Shirou turned to Archer "This time she's going down." "Agreed. But we need to be mindful. She underestimated us last time, so she will attack us at full power. Which comes down to the problem." "Ea." Shirou remembered the object Gilgamesh used to fend off the Holy Grail's essence, he couldn't get a read on it when he first saw it, after the Grail War he did research on the weapon and the thought of what it could do terrified him "Yes. So before she uses it. We need to take her down and there's only one thing that could give us the edge we need." "Unlimited Blade Works."
