Everyone returned to the Yggdmillennia Mansion. They had gathered in the dining room, it was quiet "So... Uncle Darnic is alive?" Caules said "It is not possible. He was killed by Vlad and the two became one." Ruler said "He had said he managed to survive somehow." "That's not him." Archer spoke up and everyone turned to Archer "Do you have something to share Em-" "Just Archer, please Ruler. And as to how I know. This has played out before." Archer said as he turned to Shirou "We've seen it before. Maybe not the us of now. But..." "The other me I've been seeing." Shirou places his hand on his head "Other you?" Rin asked and Shirou stands up and explains everything. He told them about how his battle with Archer triggered memories from a different timeline, where the Holy Grail War was fought by actual mages invoking the power of Heroic Spirits and what that version of himself did to save his adoptive sister and how he was captured by the Ainsworths and made a prisoner "What I don't get is how this relates to Uncle Darnic not being who he says he is." Caules puts his hand to his chin "I can explain. Shirou only just started inheriting these memories so he wouldn't know. The head of the Ainsworths, Julian believes he is the first head, Darius. It's almost like a possession, he can take on Darius' appearance. It just so happens that the man I saw, was identical to Darius Ainsworth." Archer said and Sieg trembled "But I was sure." "It's not your fault. You've only seen him once. They do also look alike so it's understandable to mistake them for one another. If that is Darius, then that means the Ainsworths must've found the way to our world. The Ainsworths are highly skilled in spacial displacement magic. So it's possible to-" "Create a rift between space time and travel between timelines." Shirou finished and Archer nodded "Exactly." "This is just as I feared." A voice said. Everyone's heads turned to the doorway, there stood a man with long black hair, he wore a black suit with dark red scarf. Behind him was a girl in a hood, her hair was gray and she resembled Saber "Lord El-Melloi!" Luvia and Rin shot up and bowed "There's no need for that. It is as you said, Archer. Julian Ainsworth has indeed arrived to our world." Lord El-Melloi said "How have you come to know this?" Ruler said and Lord El-Melloi is shocked "Two weeks ago, there was a surge of spacial magic on the south border of Transylvania. What emerged from it was a woman with red markings on her body. From what we saw, she can use the Noble Phantasm of Gilgamesh." "The Gate Of Babylon." Shirou whispers "Yes. Which is what peaked our interest. We began investigating and came across the Ainsworth family of this timeline, the woman in question was Angelica Ainsworth. Only problem is she was home at the time the surge occured, which then meant one of two things. One was that it was a mage posing as a member of the Ainsworths or it was an Ainsworth from a paralell time line." Lord El-Melloi deducted and the room grew quiet "What is their goal then? What is it the Ainsworths hope to accomplish?" Rin spoke up "They wanted to bring salvation to their world. But without a Holy Grail, their wish can't be granted. Since they don't have Miyu, they must be going to the different timelines to use the Holy Grail or Greater Grail to wish for their world to thrive. But if they do that.." Archer's voice trailed off "Our world suffers the consequences." Sieg says "Correct." Lord El-Melloi says and lights a cigar "Then Julian already has the Greater Grail. Why don't we just go after him?" Shirou asked "Going after him would be foolish. Shirou Amakusa used the Greater Grail to give him more power. Not only that he still has Angelica." Archer said and Shirou turned to Archer "I've beaten Gilgamesh before, someone with his power should be no exception." "Except, Angelica will not hesitate to use Ea. You've seen firsthand what that can do Shirou." Archer said and Shirou sat back down "We will figure something out. For now everyone please, get some rest." Ruler said and everyone split off.

Shirou laid in the bed, a lot had happened over the past week "Surprised to see me aren't you?" Archer's voice echoed and Shirou sat up as Archer materialized "A little. You said you couldn't do anything about this?" "Unless I was summoned. And since Rin was given permission to summon a servant, here I am." Archer said and shot Shirou a smug look, Shirou knit his eyebrows "What do you want anyway? Or did you come just to spit off about me and my ideals." Shirou sat up "I came to warn you about Angelica. She holds Gilgamesh's power but she isn't as incompetent as he is. She isn't afraid to use Ea, and since she's an Ainsworth, she can use spacial displacement. Which gives her an advantage. We will eventually have to fight her." Archer said "Discussing battle strategy without me?" Archer turned to see Rin, standing at the door in her froggy pajamas "Tohsaka. When did you- hold on how'd you get your pajamas?" Shirou asked "I had Archer go back to the apartment and get a change of clothes. Now, Archer. Only you are going to fight Angelica." Rin said and Shirou rose to his feet "If I can handle Gilgamesh I can definitely handle a copy of him." He said "That's not it Shirou. We have to focus on Julian and what we can do from preventing the Greater Grail from being used to drain our world." Rin said and Archer rubbed the back of his head "They're the whole reason you were taken in the first place. If it weren't for them-" "We wouldn't have a single clue as to what's going on. We wouldn't be here to help stop this thing. I know how you feel Emiya but I'm OK now." Rin reassured him and Shirou sat back down, she was right. He had saved her and now she's alright but the situation still didn't sit right with Shirou "Now. Archer, like I said you will fight Angelica and Saber will back you up. Me and Shirou will go for Julian." Rin explained "Is that wise? You don't know what Julian's capable of." Archer said and Rin smiled "I'll have Shirou with me, I'm sure I'll be fine." Rin smiled and Shirou's heart felt warm "Now we'll continue this in the morning with everyone else. Get some rest Archer." she said and Archer nodded and faded away "Mind if I sleep with you?" Rin's face became flustered and Shirou blushed "Uh, no I don't mind." Shirou moved over and RIn slid into the bed with him. Rin laid her head on Shirou's chest, his heart beat put her to sleep almost immediately and Shirou fell asleep shortly after.
