Chapter 13

Shirou woke up to what felt like an earthquake happening. Rin had already left the bed so Shirou shot straight up and got dressed. He ran through the halls of the mansion and peered out the window to see fire and explosions. In the distance stood two women, Shirou couldn't make out what they looked like. He got to the front of the mansion where everyone had gathered, the homunculi were creating a barrier trying to shield the mansion "What's going on?" Shirou asked and Ruler turned to him "The Ainsworths have begun attacking." She said and Archer materialized next to them "It's definitely Angelica and Beatrice." Archer said and Shirou began to examine his opponents.

Angelica looked like a female Gilgamesh only her blonde hair was put in pigtails and she had red markings up and down her body. The girl Beatrice had red violet hair and wore what seemed like Nordic attire, her hair was braided and she had another arm that followed behind her holding a giant hammer "Archer... What is-" "That's the famous hammer of the Norse god of thunder. Thor. That is Mlojnir." Archer said calmly and Ruler's eyes widened "A Servant cannot be a Divine Spirit. Let alone a god." "Tell that to the Ainsworths. Technically speaking it's not Thor's power that was put in the card. It was his son Magni." "That is-" "Insane." Tohsaka says and Shirou attempts to trace the weapon. Just like with Excalibur and Ea, it's no good "What do we do?" Shirou asks "We fight Angelica. Ruler, Sieg, take Beatrice. Rin and Saber search for Greater Grail, he's hiding somewhere. As for Rider and Caules, you two look for Julian. It'll be easier for the two of you to look for him since Rider has Hypogriff." Archer said and everyone nodded "No problem! Let's go, Caules!" Rider says and grabs Caules by the arm and rushes off. Saber materializes on her regular battle attire, and nods "Don't die on me. The both of you." Rin said and Shirou nodded "He's too stubborn to die." Archer says and the two rush off. Archer looks at Shirou "Remember what I told you, Shirou. She's ruthless, she'll be a much harder battle than Gilgamesh." Archer says and materializes his bow "I'll cut in when I need to. In the mean time I'll provide long range support. Can you handle that?" Archer begins to trace a arrow into his hands "Yeah. I'll do my best." Shirou said and exited the mansion.

Beatrice had already broken off to fight Ruler and the others. Angelica still advanced towards the mansion until Shirou stood meters in front of her "That's far enough!" Shirou yelled, Angelica scoffed "You're a nuisance. But I'll give you the chance I didn't give your counterpart. Run while you still can, otherwise you'll meet the same fate he once did." She said and images flickered through Shirou's head. It was the fight he saw between his paralell self and Angelica, it ended with him being captured. Shirou shook off the images and materialized Kanshou and Bakuya "Me and him may be the same person. But I've fought the real king of heroes before. I'll say the same thing I told him, there's nothing that says a fake can't surpass the original. I'm not letting you destroy our world to save your own!" Shirou said and Angelica closed her eyes in disappointment "I should've known...Very well." A portals rippled behind her and shot out blades. Shirou reflected the swords off his own "For his sake... I'll win this." Shirou thought to himself as he raced forward, more swords launched toward him, Shirou scanned the swords and made instant copies, he could tell Archer was also helping, knowing he could get all the swords at the same time. The swords clashed in the air and Angelica flinched "He's faster than his counterpart. There's also someone helping him. Someone else with those disgraceful abilites." Angelica thought and used the Archer's ability to see far distances to see Archer in the distance releasing arrow after arrow "No matter. I will not let two get the best of me." She thought "Hey! Eyes up here!" She heard and snapped back to Shirou, who had gotten in front of her quicker than she thought. Shirou thrusted Kanshou at her but it missed, before he knew it Shirou was falling "What the hell?" He said and examined the magic he witnessed "So this is spacial displacement magic." He thought "It was an elegant try but futile nonetheless." Angelica said and manifested portals above Shirou "Now!" Shirou echoed his voice to Archer who smirked in the distance "I am the bone of my sword." Archer whispered and he let loose two arrows, one sailed towards Shirou, other towards Angelica. Angelica reached out her hand and caught the arrow, the other arrow immediately destroyed the weapons in front of Shirou "I thought this would've been more interesting." Angelica said "I knew you'd catch it." She heard Archer say "What?" "Yew Bow, Scatter!" Archer clenched his free hand and the arrow transformed into a much better designed arrow. The base was metal while the arrowhead was gold, a feather laid on both sides of the base. It exploded into spikes, piercing into Angelica's hand, she immediately dropped it "Why you-" "Yew Bow, the Noble Phantasm of Robin Hood, I altered it a bit so that it'd extend spikes with contact. Right now your arm should be going numb since it's effects were mainly poison. That I couldn't change but why would I?" Archer said and Angelica released a barrage of swords at Archer, who had already retreated "Left yourself open!" Shirou shouted from above, Angelica looked up and attempted to activate her magic but noticed it wouldn't work "What?" "Oh, I also altered the Noble Phantasm a bit, it nullifies whatever magic you cast for the next five minutes. So that spacial displacement magic your family is known for? Completely deactivated." Archer said and Angelica gasped "Impossible. It's almost like they were ready for-" "HAA!" Shirou slashed at Angelica, a wound opened up across her chest and blood exploded out, Angelica leaped backwards and fell to her knees "You're formidable I'll give you that. Now we know what we're fully up against. Beatrice!" Angelica yelled over.
Beatrice was being overwhelmed, Ruler wasn't letting up on her attacks while Sieg followed up "Impossible." Angelica said and Beatrice turned "What do you want?!" She yelled and noticed Angelica's wound and immediately leaped back to Angelica. Shirou had began to press forward but stopped once Beatrice landed beside Angelica, Beatrice grabbed her and slammed down Mjolnir, lightning shot from the sky and surrounded the two. As the lightning retreated from the sky so did, Shirou stood there as Archer landed beside him "Great job." Archer said "What?" Shirou smirked "I'm not repeating myself." He said and the two stared off into the distance "Alright Saber, Tohsaka. It's up to you."
